My family is working class my mom literally grew up in a house made of adobe from straw and cow poop. They’re found better now and just got solar panels installed when prior to getting them they had to warm up the water to shower in a boiler that had to have a flame underneath and we’d stick jilotes (corn cobs) with a match and grass to take a hot shower. The earlier times I went I remember being bathed outside in a tub with cold water and my grandma scrubbed with a stone that hurt like hell. They had an outdoor bathroom as well that had a curtain for privacy it reminded me of the Shrek bathroom scene. They’re lower class but it’s nice because there is violence but not as bad in other places.

@@PaulaHerndz my kids love it. We have a vacation home in the rancho and they run around free. They go to the store by themselves and interact with all the kids there. We always have kids knocking on our door early in the morning eager to play with my kids. They all cry when we leave. They love it so much. Spending time in nature breathing in fresh air makes you forget all your worries. Mexico’s a special place. The stars are brighter there. We don’t even lock the doors. The neighbors just walk in after a light knock on the door. In the US my door is always locked.
