+Alli C I'm glad you enjoyed this idea! If you want to make them sturdier use boxboard (like cereal box), mat board (from a craft or frame shop) or even thin balsam wood (craft wood bits). Just make sure you cut the adhesive interfacing AND the fabric slightly larger than the insert piece. When you iron it you'll can seal the edges together and carefully trim the access. Good luck!
