Hi! I don't write very often... but today the algorithm showed me this video and I really liked it! It's hard for me to do the work of creating a journal because I have so many battles in my life today... I like the idea of making a small, accordion-like journal! It seems like an easier way for me :) Thanks for the inspiration. Sometimes we don't need to make pages full of stuff... just art and some words that inspire us, remind us of something important that we shouldn't forget or write down what we're living. All of that is therapeutic and beautiful, if we can put art and love in. Right now I have an art journal for my spring and summer, I hope to fill those pages, without mental pressure of any kind... just flow. Many years ago I had a small book in French that I altered to make a ''glue book''. I still sometimes make a page... it seems like I abandon it for a long time, but it's like an old friend that you go to visit and it seems like time doesn't change the affection. Do you know what I mean? (I'm stammering! Sorry... hahaa... ) I've been wanting to do art journals for a while now, but with different themes or topics, but just thinking about doing them really put me off (I have limited physical energy due to my health problems...) But today you've inspired me to try to do it this way! Thank you! And I can quite optimistically visualize doing more journaling... Hug from Chile. (Spring time...) GOD bless you. :) Elizabeth ( teacup_and_roses on Instagram)

Hi Meg! I just discovered junk journaling in May and have been addicted since. I've been looking forward to joining a challenge (wasn't aware of them when the July challenge happened). So this will be my first one! I've made one no-sew journal so far and am half done with filling it. I am using it as an art journal. I think I'll start making the no-sew for this challenge today. Thanks so much for all of your wonderful videos!

oh cool. Love this! 😃👍 I think I will participate. 😃👍 I've been using a "Zine style" for the JJJ challenges... but I am considering trying the accordion fold type like you showed and often use.... Because I haven't tried that yet, but look at yours and think it's neat. I might make a "box" for mine, if I do make one like that.... haven't decided yet. 😃👍

I love the idea of a "box" for your accordion fold journal! What themes are you thinking about for it? 📦✨
@PhoebesWorldProductions3 ай бұрын
😃👍 I made my journal yesterday.... (but haven't made the box yet)... I don't really have a theme in mind... I just want to use my stuff, and work with the prompts. but... the pages ended up being book pages.... I was gonna do more of a "patch work" with mixed papers, when when I noticed that the book pages were the perfect size for my journal, and how easy it was to put them together, the whole journal ended up being made with them. but I started making another journal, which IS more patchwork style.... that one's taking a lot longer to put together, but it is stash busting, and fun. 🙃😃👍 I'm still having technical issues, so I don't know how much I'll be able to share.... 😕
