Be careful with deadlifts man. It's normal to progress quickly at the start. The smartest thing to do is to treat it like any other lift. Overload with the same amount per week. Just because it's easy to deadlift a lot, doesn't mean you should overload with more weight (unless you JUST started) than you do on any other exercise like bench. 2.5kg per week is the spot. Focus on technique and bracing. Do not go from 5-10 reps into a one rep max. Ease into one rep maxes. Go for tripples for a few weeks, go for doubles. Then go for a single. Even though the chance of fucking up your back is slim, people have a tendency to NOT follow the same rules they do for every other lift because deadlift progression is so quick in the beginning. Treat it like any other compound. Don't get cocky.

Yoo whats going on guys.. today we're going to be playing the ever so toxic elixear golem. We're up against a goblin drill deck here. Skelly king is a pretty good counter to it. hee does have the cannoneer aswell which is kind of interesting should help out our night witch quite a bit to be way better in this match up, ive been facing more and more cannoneer recently i think people are switching to it a lot because the cannoneer counters pekka super well and pretty much everyone is running pekka right now

nah, you're tweaking bro. i legitimately won this morning playing egolem with one hand while brushing my teeth, against a 9k trophy high ladder player. this deck is as close the game gets to literally playing itself. multiple times i've dropped eg+nw at the bridge when they overcommit, closed the app to join a wifi network, rejoined the game and simply *continued pressuring* I'm confident an actual Paleolithic cave dweller could learn to play this deck quicker than they learn to butter toast

@@WG_MC_CR yeah that's just how the game works of course it's supposed to be matchup dependent and stressful. if a deck wasn't stressful then everyone would play it because it would guarantee an easy win EVERY time. you're not gonna win every match. but egolem is possibly the closest you can get to having an easy mode in this game, there's like, maybe 4 different things you can do. nyways i was talking about ACTUAL top ladder, not 9k average players, i had written out "9k top ladder on POL" but it looked like I was babbling because there were too many abbreviations in my message

I used to lift before I started working manual labour jobs so my 2 cents are: As far as I remember you’re not meant to do deadlifts often, once per week is fine but I think the meta is every 2 weeks since it heavy on your cns (central nervous system) and that doesn’t recover too quickly. I personally recommend using straps irregardless of what anyone says, it takes all the effort out of the gripping and lets you really focus on the actual lift instead of the overwhelming feeling in your hands, you’ll actually be able to feel where you’re lifting from. (On top of that when I did my at the time pb of 165kg I ripped off every callous on my hands since I did it without wraps) Lastly you’re not lifting the weight up, you’re pushing the earth down. Imagining it that way helped me.
