We feed the offal to our chickens, boil the bones until they're soft for bone broth, dry and grind those for bonemeal for the garden, and what hides we don't process for other use are the only thing we have left to compost. Our black soldier fly larvae farm makes short work of most of those. :) Good to know that 2 feet of covering seems to keep your predators out, that is what worries me here.

That's a great way to use all of the animal. I'm assuming at the scale Sugarhill farm is at that they produce way too much of the by-product to be able to keep up

I turn at 6 months and wait a minimum of 18 months before putting it near a garden. Red wigglers

Yeah, 1 year to 18 months should be pretty safe.

Really cool my man I wanna ask about your bamboo videos. Once you cure the bamboo in borax you need any extra treatment?

Usually I just dig a hole in my garden bed or around my fruit trees, dump the animal products in there. Within a few days the worms have demolished everything except the bones.

That's what I typically do, but these guys process a lot at one time. It's a great option for those who process a lot of animals.
