I LOVE Priscilla’s enthusiasm for holidays, activities, and interest in everything. The last few vlogs I’ve been finding myself saying things like “I wish my mom was like that.” And “I want to be that kind of mom for my kids.” We would totally be friends and our enthusiasm would just amplify whatever was going on! Not smiling ≠ not being happy. People must stop insisting or questioning repeatedly. I've been told so many times why I'm sad when I'm really happy, only because I don't smile. I can understand why they ask, and I understand that they worry, but it's frustrating. Same goes with being asked to smile for a picture, I just cannot fake it. I relate so much with this, so thanks for sharing.

1) Asa's dad is a national treasure. Saying he had to look up how to use the buttons. He's hilarious. 2) I grew up in a fam that does all the holidays and my husband grew up basically doing Thanksgiving and Christmas. Its been a culture shock for him. But now that we have a kid, I think he sees the joy of all the celebrating. Y'all are awesome.

Pricilla reminds me of my parents. Both of them loved holidays and they went to the nth degree for all of them. It was always sooooo much fun. Even though they’re both gone, I still love all holidays! So glad that Donna is on the mend and feeling better.

People really said she looks miserable in the pictures?!?! Man thats so annoying what is wrong with people lol. She's constantly smiling & laughing, but the second she's not smiling in a picture people are so quick to say she's having a horrible time. I feel like it's people who don't watch often or don't know her. She rarely smiles on command or in pictures. Just because she doesn't smile in a picture doesn't mean she's upset or having a bad time. She usually goes back to laughing & smiling after the picture is taken so that says it all right there lol.

I've been watching for over a year now and its clear to me how quickly Ab changes from her calm, focused, and laid back demeanor to a totally different personality after eating sugary foods. As I've noted before with reputable sources refined sugar metabolizes differently in autistic individuals. Within moments of understanding sweets are coming or actually eating them, Abby's sugar high begins, she completely flips into an inability to focus, and starts to increase stimming behaviors. It would be awesome to see a smile from this sweet girl when the action or thought of sweets isn't the reason for majority of her smiles. I also believe the Easter egg hunt could have been a lot more challenging, perhaps tucked in or under a bush. This could be the reason she seemed unhappy in the pictures because she felt like the egg hunt was pointless labor. These are my observations based on what I have noticed and my own knowledge from reputable sources. Hope you had a great Easter Holiday!
