Man I’ve been throwing for about a year and a half, and being a life long knife guy (I’m 40 now) I can’t believe it took me so long to pick up throwing! What a great, clean hobby it is! Never gets old, at least for me. Yes, you are correct, very hard to find quality throwers in general, without breaking the bank, much less, no spinners. The first time I looked into AceJets😦 I about fell over! It’s like, can I make payments for just one, y’all? Lol I’ll check these out, thanks bro

Right on brother! Knife throwing is the BEST!🙂 Ace Jet is just too high. I just learned how to no spin everything else instead haha! I want hammer grip no spin with combat blades

I can recommend thrw club shadow model, needle point that's held up so far, 1065 high carbon steel 64-68 hardness if I remember correctly. Great quality for a very good price

I just ordered these as well. I got the 8.1" last week and I love them. Can't wait to get these 9.8" ones. They are awesome for no spin technique and yesterday I was also throwing instinctive half spin pretty well too. Thanks for the update brother.

Thanks just ordered a set of 3. I’ll practice throwing it at a wide palm tree stump in my back yard. I did practice throwing a Cold Steel copy of a Russian special forces Spetsnaz shovel on that stump.

Ever do any tests on balistic gel? What are your thoughts on something like this for self defense?

I have personally never done ballistic gel test, but I know that these knives penetrate very well into ballistic gel. A Direct hit from one of these place would go all the way into a body being they are so weighted. Jason Johnson wrecked a pig hanging up in a butchery with a throwing knife

@@411Outdoors I always wondered their practicality. It would give some standoff distance and range, but I would hate for the other guy to now have my weapon, and be pissed off because my knife throw failed to incapacitate him.... and now he is about to shove that thing up my ass....lol

Haha! I definitely wouldn’t throw away my only weapon in my hand. Knife throwing is a skill that translates into others. Not to mention the fact that it’s cool to be able to send sharp projectiles out from your body and have that skill.

I seem to be getting the hang of form up to like 3 to 4 meters but then it falls apart. When they stick they have no penetration and often fall out when its a direct hit. Any pointers?
