No-start, U019 on a GM? You need Dorman’s pre-programmed OE FIX FPDM.

When a crank no-start condition happens on GM vehicles, sometimes accompanied by a U0109 code, it can indicate a loss of communication with the fuel pump driver module.
On some General Motors vehicles, most notably the trucks, the fuel pump driver module is mounted externally above the spare tire and the harness pins faces straight down, helping cause high failure rates-boat ramps, for example, are a dangerous place for a fuel pump control module. On other vehicles, the control modules are mounted in the trunk.
Dorman has three time-saving OE FIX part numbers that are pre-programmed right out of the box, include fresh hardware, and cover a wide range of late-model GM vehicles where the factory FPDM can be problematic.

I bought the one with part number 601-132 for my 09 Chevy Tahoe and it does not work. It says it’s pre-programmed but it’s not.

Hello! Part # 601-132 is preprogrammed. We recommend checking for a failure code or fault being set that would cause it to not function properly.

@@DormanProducts I just bought the same one 601-132 and have two codes one is the U0109 & P0230. Have replaced both pump and this module! Starts and stalls! No power getting to the fuel sending unit/pump coming from module! Module is getting power & ground correctly!! Is the Dorman part not programmed or just failed?

I bought one for my 2014 Tahoe, I can hear the fuel pump working when I turn on the ignition, but the starter doesn’t turn the engine when I try to start , when I unplug the module the starter works fine and turn the engine, it seems that the ECM doesn’t know the Dorman module and I need to program it, although it’s preprogrammed.please help me if you have any solutions. Thank you!

It sounds like the new Dorman module has a communication issue to the BCM, you will want to warranty this out through your retailer. I apologize for the inconvenience.
