I swear, I thought I was the only one who felt this way. It honestly was the best time. You had technology to contact people instantlu but it wasn't that readily available and most conversations were short before people actually met up and had a good time. These days, everything is so readily available and though that may have some benefits, jt deprives people of that excitement and enthusiasm you know? Like looking forward to actually seeing that person. You don't know if you're ever gona see them again so you make the best of everything.

Movies like this give you expectations of this grand romance that doesn’t happen. You sometimes dont get the closure you want, you don’t get the ending you want. These movies made me and everyone else have this hope for a romance that doesn’t exist or work out all the time. Sometimes things just fall off and you never get a reason why.

Real romance is practical. And it generally doesn't begin with a casual hookup. And it doesn't end with, "I love you." That's just the movies.
@jay-pg2ib Жыл бұрын
It actually does happen. I've had it happen to me twice. This type of romance and love is extremely rare, and the reason it seems as if you never find it is because ppl.hwve no patience and pick the wrong partner all the time. They don't work on themselves and find out who they are as a person. Ppl don't follow passions or build careers and stay humble enough for it to happen. We get hurt once and say we will stay single forever because we hate inner pain. But pain helps us grow and become who we are meant to be. My advice is to live your life full of joy and passion and you will find this kind of love. But you have to be open to it and you have to aware of it!

I had something similar happen to me. I just couldn't do it anymore as I had lost all trust in her. I know she was heart broken too, and the promises unkept were about our future rather than any betrayal. Her attempt to mend things were weak at best, it mostly just made me more upset. It was hard to say no, but I knew with that level of trying to win me back, we would just do this again sooner or later. Honestly, I know she struggled very much with expressing her feelings and emotions. But at some point, like in this movie, grow up and be an adult. This is a bit different though. She wasn't honest about her feelings, but she was honest about trying to suppress them. Not wanting to feel the way she did, I would have been pretty upset too with her. But if you hurt someone like that, and you lay it all out on the line, making yourself open to being hurt yourself, that is a good way to earn that trust. Some things can be fixed if you are willing to do what it takes.

Not that this is common, but you’ll find *some* people who engage in this emotionally detached physical intimacy previously *yearned* for something deeper but at some point in their lives they were hurt badly and decided they would never risk getting hurt again. Yet they seek out casual intimacy because that at least gives them a *taste* of that, and because it satisfies their sexual desires, which helps them deal with the pain of (these) relationships failing, in a cycle of disappointment. The problem is the further away they get from that ideal, the more “unsatisfied” they become with less meaningful sexual encounters, and the greater the risk of going into the depths of depravity to find satisfaction. Then because the extremes of sensual greed go hand in hand with the extremes of sensual hatred and ignorance, you risk become hard-hearted, bad tempered, hateful and irritable. Upon which you might close yourself off to *meaningful* relationships with *genuine* people. So it’s worthwhile for these persons to go in the extreme opposite direction to all that by focusing on *their own* Spiritual Development and being *open* to building a deeply spiritual romantic connection with someone (1). Because as per the storyline of this movie, these casual encounters can severely hinder your capacity to achieve that end by making your mind superficial to the point you fail to see all the good that is *right in front* of you. On the contrary, *some* people become afraid of romantic connections, to the point they will actually seek out men who are the extreme opposite of the men they *want* to Selflessly Love and who *would* Selflessly Love them. Even going so far as creating life with these opposites simply because they cannot bear the pain of potentially being hurt by those men they would actually Love. But when you are spiritually guided you can Love anyone or anything *fearlessly.* The final thing to note is that if you are indulging in casual encounters, with other people who are *only* interested in casual encounters, and *not* people who are already married, or in relationships, or looking for something deeper - that doesn’t automatically make you a bad person who inclines to depraved behaviour that debases yourself and your society. It just means you *risk* getting further and further away from all the benefits of Spiritual Soulmateship until you reach the depths. 1. Without yearning because yearning (as a function of desire) serves *no purpose whatsoever.* In fact, if people spent *all* their time yearning they would *never* achieve whatever it is they yearn for. So you should not yearn but *set a goal* and work towards achieving it through *developing* yourself and also applying *energy* to those creative efforts which are necessary to realise that goal. Whether that goal is romance, a good job, a Mazda RX7 or whatever (2). 2. In terms of these romantic endeavours, I think your focus should be on *improving yourself* so you are as good as you can be, when you eventually find the *right* person who will *appreciate* you for your true inner beauty. Instead of *you* being content with *yourself* being *used* for the purpose of satisfying temporary sexual desires as if you were a *purely* sexual object (3). Because ultimately, these casual encounters will leave you *increasingly* unsatisfied for that very reason. This is why it’s important to *not* have a set list of *superficial criteria* that you want fulfilled by your potential partner and *judge* everyone you meet against that. But to focus on what *you* will “bring to the table” by applying your efforts to *your own* temporal and spiritual development. Then as you *live life to the fullest* in the pursuit of *all* your righteous goals, just *one* of which should include finding Spiritual Soulmateship, you *will* inevitably meet someone you converge with in Principle. 3. So it’s not entirely the guys fault or the girls fault, and people should not attribute *blame* either way for the ills of these casual encounters, because everyone knows “it takes two to tango”. Instead people should take *responsibility* for their own romantic endeavours. Bearing in mind you cannot *simultaneously* satisfy your own short-term desires *and* build a deeply spiritual romantic connection with someone. You have to *sacrifice* the former in order to enjoy the *fruits* of the latter with someone you are *eternally and exclusively* committed to. But sadly, some people have been hurt so badly they just cannot accept the benefits of sacrificing the short-term in order to enjoy the fruits of the long-term, *until* they’ve reached the depths of depravity. For these types of people, *you* should be the type of person who has no short-term desires *for* them, and instead just *be there* for them *without* judgment or condemnation. For the selfless purpose of *just* helping them improve, *without* unduly destroying yourself to try and save them. Bearing in mind, you cannot save them from themselves, you can only *show them the way* by setting a good example yourself.

Should not have been a kiss. A hug would be more impacting.

Yeah I agree dude. The acting was all good until he said "That's good". Would've been better is he didn't say anything after she said I love you. LOL

It’s bc he said it to her and she said “it’s good”. He was trying to get back at her in a joking and loving way haha. People really need to watch the entire movie before watching the clips lmao

Came back just to laugh at this ridiculously stupid line. “Stop don’t come any closer, because if you do I’m not letting you go.” I can’t help but laugh every time I think about it 😂😂😂

I had a moment like this with my first love. I was her first boyfriend. And we went to the beach together for her best friends wedding. And I started having major side pains. And she didn’t think It was that serious. But I ended up having to go to the hospital and it turns out I had five kidney stones. But she had already gone home from the beach and left me without a ride 4 1/2 hours from home. When I told her what my condition was, she drove to see me and apologized in person and said she should have been there for me and she was so sorry. I forgave her and we started over again

I have been single for the last 7 Years... No Girlfriend, No Dates, not any contact with any woman or even...talk more than 5 minutes for anything that isnt work... My Youth is ending i think.... 27 yo. I would die for a experience like this again... but no woman looks like have the sligthlest interest on me... and i dont wanna try to be of any interest... i know i will die alone, and i will take with me all the love i could give. Strangely i like this movies, love seems to be just an incredible fiction, like magic and true happyness.
