Do all the states in America use or share the same money? A friend of mine collects money from around the world and he has coins from every state in America but can you use those coins in other states? Like if I had California coins could I spend them in New York or would I have to trade them?

Yup! The whole country is the same money, but I a handful of years ago they started making the commemorative state coins just to show off how fancy they could be I guess 😅 so you can collect all of them and use em in any state. I actually went on a tour of one of the US Mints and I'm sure they went over the story of why they started making them, but I wasn't paying close enough attention oops! lol ❤️

Brian 88 Yes each state uses the same currency but there is a piece of artwork on some of our coins to celebrate each of our states and territories .
