My Pop used to play emotive pieces like this, so wonderful 😊. My mum called them durges (she loved brass bands). Me, i loved them, the slower the piece, the more i connected. I love Symphony For Sorrowful Souls, so you can see what i mean. You played this beautifully, as always ❤ i think this is my favourite Bond tune.

@@CharlesSzczepanek Thank You Charles. I fell in love in this arrangements. I purchased it from musicnotes, and I was spending couple of hours a week for the last 2 months (I'm not as advanced as you are). But finally yesterday I managed to play it with no mistakes and a proper "climate". I have still to work a bit on getting it up to your speed, but it is already my greatest piano achievement. watching your clip here, was helping keeping the motivation. So, as I said, THANK YOU!
@CharlesSzczepanek2 жыл бұрын
@@marcinpazdro2579 Thank you! I’m glad you’ve been enjoying working on it and feel so accomplished! I used to practice 2 to 6 hours per day. I did that every day for around 10 years, and I’d probably still be doing that if not for all of the other stuff I’m doing these days other than just learning and performing. I kind of miss that hard practicing. I think its awesome that you recognized the amount of time and effort you’d need to put in to accomplish what you were looking to accomplish. And level of advancement doesn’t, almost ever, equal less practicing haha. Just practicing toward different goals. Keep it up! I’d also love to hear a recording of it from you if you decide to make one!

Beautiful piece Sir! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I'm just wondering, did you use the left "una corda" pedal in this melody?
@CharlesSzczepanek3 жыл бұрын

had to subscribe!! your arrangement is the best I've heard! I might buy the sheet music and record as well for my channel! :) I have the Kawai Mp11SE. how did you get this beautiful sound my friend? also, when I export sound files to my USB the sound output is low and I have to amplify it on my computer. Any thoughts on that matter? Thank you :)
@CharlesSzczepanek3 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thanks for the sub! My Kawai is just my controller... I use a handful of sample libraries on different songs. This one I recorded with Noire by Native Instruments. Getting a piano sound, of any kind, up to a listenable volume is always a tricky thing with use of compressors and limiters and such. If you can, I'd at least record via an xlr output and not from an exported file. Even better if you can get a piano library you like. But if it makes you feel any better, I'm always doing a variety of compression, limiting, and volume automation to get the final audio files up to the volume they are here. It probably adds up to at least 10db of extra loudness.
