My dipstick disappeared today. This is the method I will use temporarily to make certain I have the correct amount of transmission fluid, then I should be able to find a dipstick that I can make work! Or at least that's my plan 🤗 Thanks

Try using a long needle nose pliers to pull the stick out. Otherwise drop the oil pan. Good luck!

Have a Ford Fusion now with no reverse..It blew the check ball right through the Valve body separator plate..Still can not find a new bonded separator plate. Called Sonex and a few others..You have to buy the whole valve body to get that plate..

Hardly Moving Productions. what size tubing ? thx much !
@hardlymovingpro18 күн бұрын
You'll have to use a dial caliper to measure the diameter of the output line connected to your ATF hose. Then go to your local auto parts store and have them cut you a 2 foot hose.

@@hardlymovingpro Thx Much. !!!! Are most Trans cooler hoses mounted so that the input from the Trans goes in the bottom of radiator and the return to Trans comes out the top,,,,,,,,is there a reason for that,,,,,,,seems backwards,,,,,but I am kinda backwards sometimes I guess,,,,lol
@hardlymovingpro18 күн бұрын
Yes. Bottom up in the fluid flow. As to why? As fluid is cooled, it naturally tends to rise upward.

what do you recommmend to flush entire transmission oil just drain, fill, drive and replace 3 times. or can i use the same method like u did in this video , means put it in neutral and just keep at idle to get all oil out using return line. will it emty torque and radiator oil as well.. or that will cause transmision to be in a problem.
@hardlymovingpro3 жыл бұрын
Depends on how dirty the oil is. If pitch black, start with a drain and fill. Wait till the next engine oil change to let the ATF detergents do its work, then check the oil color again. If dark red, you can do a flush. No transmission problems using the technique used in this video.

Hi i have a chevrolet optra when accelerating and i get to speeds of 80kms/hr and above car has a hard sturter and hold light starts to flash. When the car cools the hold disapears on its own. If i drive speeds bellow 80 car is fine qnd smooth. My temparature sensor failed so i put fans direct. Any advice?

Piston seal likes to go bad on these transmissions. You need to take your car to a transmission specialist. They need to open the transmission replace the piston seal and worn clutches. These are horrible transmissions.

Hello Hardly Moving Productions! This is Nove from AISKITS, I watched your channel it’s really exciting and impressive. This is a newly launched LED headlight! You can see this LED headlight, is not cool?it is our latest development of a product! In the United States, there are many classic cars, they are our closest partners! Now they may need some upgrades to accompany us better. Replacing and upgrading our headlights does more than making driving safer. They improve the look of your vehicle as well as its performance. LED bulbs have a lower power pull on your vehicle’s battery and system. They also give our vehicle a fresh and new feel with bright white light. I was wondering if you could do a share for it on your KZbin: • Introduction • Overview of features • Actual driving footage with the bulbs • Amazon link on the description for viewers interested in buying the product." Please let me know if this is OK with you. Really looking forward to working with you. Best wish, Nove
