Hi everyone, I’m the guy behind The Television. I was chatting with Frankie about his movies via email and I was thinking about one of my favorite things they do which is No Views. I though it would be fun if I asked to have a movie on the show and they said okay. I submitted 2 shorts to Red Cow that they could choose between, one that I made this year, which is a parody of old Universal Monster movies, which I think is actually pretty good, and one that I made a few years ago which I know is kind of crap but I figured the guys would have fun riffing on it. Despite that fact that I told them that the newer short was better, they obviously they chose the crap one because of EJ's love for CRTs, but that’s okay. It was a high school video assignment that I shot on my iPhone in an afternoon, which explains the lack of a decent story and why my shirt was so distracting (It's literally just what I was wearing that day). The redness of the CRT is just the front piece which is replaceable, it also came with a blue version and a grey version. Jon points out the masking which I didn’t know I could do at the time lol. Also the logo within the movie was a dumb idea I had at the time to try and have my room be my "studio headquarters". I’ll admit the toothbrush acting was kinda weird I’ll give you that. And the "Staring" at the end is because I suck at spelling and I didn't notice. It won 3rd place at my high school video competition because despite the bad aspects of the video it's still better than most things that high schoolers make. I've learned a lot about filmmaking since I made this, partly because of the mistakes in this that helped me realize what does and doesn't work in a film.
