It is totally liberating. You get to break from the past and start again from the beginning. It has been well over 30 years since I first shaved my head and I still remember that first rubbing of my hands over my freshly shaved skull. Shavings became more frequent until about 15 years ago when I decided to keep it bald, shaving at least every 3 days or so. People often say they would do it but they are afraid of the reactions of others. I was a bit like that too before the first shave, then nothing happened and all that fear disappeared.

You look great with your head shaved! I have been shaving my head since 2009, usually every 2-3 days. I had a different reason than most men have for shaving my scalp: I was getting it tattooed, since I was already tattooed from neck down to fingers and toes. I love being totally bald on top, but I also kept a big beard when I made the Bald By Choice decision! When I am asked why I keep a beard while shaving the top and back of my head, I say, “most men shave the wrong part of their head!” I will go to my grave Bald and Bearded and 95% Tattooed.

This is a handsome man with regular features., and an enviable head of curly hair, but the decision to shave it all off was a good one, as he attains a rather virile appearance, thereby. No one now can avoid those penetrating , and rather sensuous-looking eyes.....He has the added asset of having a well-shaped head, which now,is properly-showcased..
