NO WAY - Korn (Guitar Cover v1) 🎸

GUITAR COVER V1 means raw unedited guitar playing recorded from my phone, no footswitch and limited effects I have. Maybe in future I made this v1 kovers to my official guitar kovers series. All the effects I recreate then🤘🏻 Thanks for watching friends!

GUITAR DETAILS ℹ️☝🏼 - This song is played with whammy pedal of course. I don't have, but I have pitch shifter which is alternative to whammy. I just set it up to mode like this. Only disadvantage is you can't control speed manually. On pitch shifter like mine you just set up speed of push/release and click & hold. Pity. Nevermind. Better than no whammy 😂 - 02:02 Munky at the background in the studio track using some weird effect. I really don't know what he used. Maybe whammy and delay. That's why I didn't played that part also in the end. I know only few effects how they sound so maybe someone help with ID 😁🤘🏻 - 03:50 Those harmonics at the end are not in the studio track, but they played it live in '99 Apollo show 🤘🏻 ⚠️ Notify me, if you find something incorrect during cover. hello, just wanted to say amazing job. I’m a huge Korn fan, seen so many cover videos. You are one of the better players, even when you had to change effects while playing. And bravo on creating the tones and effects so accurately on your computer! Just wanted to add, this song is very special to me. I had a friend in high school who would DJ at parties. At one party, I sat next to him to take a break from the crowd, and he played “No Way”. We sat there and started riffing on what a cool music video concept would be for that song. As the song progressed, our music video got more epic yet hilarious: the band performing in a spooky graveyard, Jon slapping the ground then pulling his hand back up as he creates a tornado from under his palm 😂. We were blowing our own minds of our concept and we laughed about for the rest of the night. 😂 Then a few years later after I moved away from home, I got a phone call. My DJ friend was waiting for a bus one morning and just fell over and died. Just like that. I hate to admit it, but I kinda choked up watching your cover. You did the song, and the memory of my friend, proud. You are very talented. Keep going!

Thank you very much!! 🤝🏻 Yes, the effect switching on PC is pain without footswitch but someday I pre-record them to my official guitar kover series like I do with "Blame" few days ago 🤘🏻 Your story with your friend is great. I can imagine those memories because I have very similar memories with Korn songs and friends 😁 Very nice!!
