This is so 90s. Oasis were so massive, their cover band made it on to TOTP and Gary Glitter was yet to be charged, also happily living off royalties from Oasis.

When you hear how much money they made, you won't be laughing. They were touring Europe almost constantly from 1994-1998, and were also financially supported by Sony/Creation records, because it was felt that they could play towns/cities the actual Oasis wouldn't go near. Seriously, I think they made millions from it.

@@mondocamp not sure if the above is a slight exaggeration but this is directly from their Wikipedia page; 'Between 1995-1998 No Way Sis were in such demand that they found themselves touring the length and breadth of the UK continuously, almost without a break. The band completed several European tours as well as performing a string of dates in the United Arab Emirates.'

If you're under the age of 20, it must be hard to imagine there was a weekly primetime show dedicated to the singles chart, and even harder to comprehend would be the fact a tribute band was on it. But that's how big Oasis were, if you lived through it (I was 16/17 in 1996) you'll never see the like again, our 60's. and our Beatles right there.

It’s weird because in the 90s, everyone thought he sounded nothing like Liam. But he does sound quite a lot like 2020 Liam Gallagher. Liam’s vocal decline over the last 20 years, means they’re now quite a close match
