Hard challenges like this don't necessarily require money, but they're definetely endgame content that needs lots of investment to beat (even with the best characters, you'd still need great artifacts), so they aren't really for new players or casual players

I completed it on difficulty 4 in 2:10 with Raiden, Yelan, Bennett and Kachina. Every time you climb the pillars to destroy them, the boss loses a considerable amount of health, so just spam Kachina's elemental and ulti every time the boss has the lightning circle, do everything like that and hit him with your other characters as the circle reloads and the drill hits in the background. If you accept the challenge and want to do it on difficulty 4, I hope my advice helps you and don't forget that you can use foods and potions to fight.

I was able to clear it using Chiori 😂 (with Arlecchino). Ive been trying with several lineup, even pulling out my best ones, to no avail (Chiori+Noelle mono geo, Arle National). But at the end I was able to beat it with, Chiori, Arle, Furina, Xilonen. The off field dmg from chiori and furina actually helps alot, so u just need 1 primary dps to couples it with

I tired the exact Navia team as you with the same problem. I ended up switching to my Nahida team and completed it. I find it a little sad and disappointing though that this boss had a specific buff to Geo and yet my C0 Navia team still couldn’t perform well enough to beat it in time and a team that didn’t get any advantage from the Geo buffs did better… Granted my Navia isn’t well invested, but still properly built and I ate multiple buffs and still came up a bit short even when I felt I played as perfectly as possible.

I cleared using c1 Arlechino, Zhongli (for pillar to climb), Yelan, TDS mona on Noblesse. It was tight but managed to complete it. I don't have my Kazuha/Xilonen/Kachina built yet as they are probably much better options for better dps and to climb the geo contructs. I'm convinced that hoyo does these super hard events once in a while to dps check their player base lol and get data on how many players are actually clearing this.

I barely made it with ten seconds left using C0 Arlecchino, C6 Xingqiu, C5 Bennett and C0 Xilonen. I had to switch around artifacts on my already top 1% Arlecchino until she reached 93/193 crit ratio (using signature weapon CMS) and stacked a lot of er% on my Xingqiu. Beat after ages of painful reattempts, five seconds left.

Yeah probably they do a dps check maybe for their own info, but also players complain a lot (some annoyingly so) that genshin is too easy and this is finally a proper challenge. It’s never about the rewards but just the principle and the excitement

Just use Zhongli with a bunch of HP instead of Kazuha on your Arlecchino team :) Make sure the pillar is in range to deal dmg but not get destroyed. I was able to do it C0 Arlecchino with that team even though I forgot to use food buffs. You got this! EDIT: Don't use Xilonen or Zhongli bursts, they just waste time. If you go Arlecchino > Zhongli > Xilonen > Bennet, Xilonen will still be able to get a Crystallize.

It's a huge dps loss my Arle after breaking enemy shield dealt around 190k with 1NA but with Zhongli it was around 140k. Imo it's not worth it, just learn how to dogde. This boss is very slow and has easy attack patterns

100% F2P here. Completed Steadfast for the past 2 days, but I gave up today's. I only have Kachina properly built for Geo. Ningguang is my 2nd highest level Geo character at L70. Geo is something I neglected throughout and will very likely still be neglected in the foreseeable future. After using Kachina in various teams, I barely reached 50% mark by the end of the timer, I wouldn't even get the slightest bit frustrated for today's, I just had to settle with difficulty 3. Frankly, I didn't really enjoy Steadfast so far.

If your best team has Kazuha, use that team, cuz I know it’s dumb but it looks like takes LONGER for it to be on the weakened state with nightsoul… it goes on the 2 pillars phase without needing it, and takes lesser time (it doesn’t do that laser square attack before summoning pillars)if you are a vertical invester you can brute force with your strongest team doing a rotations regardless of whether it has the bonus RES or not (you always have time to do a rotation and farm energy before it summons pillars)

Yeah, exactly same situation with the difference I will never build Kachina, she's useless. And I have no other character to climb the pillars to stop the attack, I waste too much time waiting for boss to come back down and then I also need to perfect dodge the one shot attack. It's fine to make challenging events, what is not fine is to force people to use 2 characters (Kachina or Xilonen) to stand a chance. Also, most people don't even have Xilonen and using Kachina guarantees you will never have enough DPS to beat boss anyway

Multiple characters can go up the pillar, you just need vertical mobility characters: Kazuha, Wanderer, Venti, Xiao, Kinich, Zhongli, Albedo, Keqing, Alhaitham, Chiori, Geo Traveler, Xianyun, Gaming, Kirara. All these can either jump high, fly, blink or put climbable constructs.

Yeah you can't climb the pillars, so you'll need the aviator units if not bringing Kachina. I didn't carry on with the challenge after trying almost all the combinations my characters stable allow me to. Best result was bringing down 55% of the boss health. I wouldn't go to the extent to swap gears and use food buffs for day 3 unless it's like my day 2 where I brought the boss health down by 85% before attempting food buffs and gear swap. Now day 4 isn't looking good either. Failed with Nahida Nilou Bloom, Furina and Neuvi Bloom so far. Maybe will try again with other combos later. The problem is overcoming its frequent and highly damaging attacks. So far, I've spent more time running, dodging, jumping than really attacking... 😂

FYI for those struggling, all the steadfast difficulties are far easier to complete if you trigger the required reactions/mechanic the required amount of times. Brute force is not the way to go unless you have a full team of c6 5 star units. The hardest difficulty is not only a dps check, but a check on how well you understand and can use the game mechanics. EDIT: for those complaining this isn't helpful. I cleared with a NOELLE team.

Didn't realized the boss has 10m hp, i cleared it with my C0R1 Navia xilonen xiangling bennette team without food buff. Didnt also know that we can use food kek.

I only try for the 3rd difficulty...after I've done the second... The rewards are okay for 3rd, but as long as I get the primos I'm good.

On AR 32-35 this event is not doable even on the easiest mode, it definitely requires 5* artifacts leveled to at least +16, which are rather not present at this AR (available only from weekly bosses with relatively low drop rate)

Pro tip : Use Kachina’s elemental skill and switch to other character, her drill can fill up the countermeasures pretty fast off field

Wait really? I tried several times but I don't feel it. Maybe I put it too far? Also, after filling it up it will make the boss summon the two stones right? Does Kachina skill cd line up with that? 🤔

Phase 4 of current event is whale-only territory. Even with a buffed Navia/Xilo team I'm 15-20s short and that's Navia doing 500k hit per skill. You need C2s and C6s to compelte this. Ofc who cares when the reward is just 20k Mora and some art xp.
