so i was rewatching the show and i think the "change" of this one is that marceline died young witch made simon a more evil ice king (thats why there is an ice marci and the winter king told our simon to make an ice betty) , this one is a simon without marceline and the next is a marceline without simon...

1) It'd probably be funnier if the Lemongarbs yelled "UNACCEPTABLE" at one point. 2) I think Winter King came to be because Marceline died before Simon fully succumbed to the crown's power.

It's not even just magic. Because of te way their connection to Simon's mind, it affects any random thing that Simon sees as weird in some way, or even magical in the nonliteral sense. Bmo was an alarm clock in Fionna's world.
