I know this is a month old but. Griselda was gunned down in Medellín which is where Escobar's cartel operated until 93. She had a hit put on her by someone who knew where she was. She was released from Prison in 04. She was shot in the shoulder and took a bullet to the head inside of a butcher shop by a motorcyclist. It doesn't matter how young or old you are or if your old days are no longer happening. Very rarely can you escape that life even if you think you settled down well over 2 decades later. Most of Escobar's lieutenants were assassinated either by the Search Bloc or by Los Pepes. He probably would be alive to this day had he not had the judge assassinated who was going to set the charges on him for trafficking back in 92. That following year Escobar was killed by the Search Bloc officially. Although DEA agent Stephen Murphy was NOT supposed to be there, he was seen in a photo with Pablo's body. Allthough it's purely speculation for how Pablo was killed. Just judging from those who were there and how much hatred there was for him. He was more than likely executed by Murphy. But nobody is ever going to speak on the truth of what really happened on that rooftop. But considering Pablo was already disarrmed and bleeding out on the rooftop by the 2nd or 3rd shot. It's safe to make that assumption. Murphy and the Bloc didn't want him escaping prison again or getting away if he were transported to a hospital. By that time Pablo was already finished and washed up. The Cali cartel had already made some pretty big moves with both the Felix Brothers (Tijuana cartel) and the Juárez Cartel. Which btw, ended up going south not much later. The Cali cartel supplied 3 different cartels in Mexico.
