They were giving him major league experience, and rightly so. I said this all last year too so it's not like I'm jumping on the bandwagon. I wish they did it with more prospects. Obviously it's paying off right now. Now that he's been hot for a decent enough stretch, the league will undoubtedly spend some time and energy trying to adjust to him again. So we will see how he responds.

@@evanpenn1 That was probably closer to 3 weeks ago. But yeah, you're right, he cooled off a huge amount. I think the league has adjusted to his adjustments. Now he has to adjust back. I guarantee you he's gonna have a much better year when it's all said and done. His plate discipline has made tremendous strides. he's also one of the best defensive short stops in the league.

These are overblown numbers. MLB has made it very easy with new rules. Juiced balls, bigger bases, and pitchers can throw to the bases only twice. Also, the 5 teams that have the highest jump in attendance from last year are the Phillies, rangers, Astros, reds, guardians.
