Wow! Love the video. I'm watching this several years after you and your son completed it. The church where I'm a member is considering a DIY project within the church to build it very similar to what you've done. I would love to talk to you about the project. Can you reply back with contact info? Thanks.

Thank you for sharing. My son - also an Eagle Scout - agreed to help me build a labyrinth for my community. While searching for a plan, I found your very helpful video. Honestly, it has given me hope that we can do this project. I see the diameter of your project was 34' and this is a perfect size for us. Would you be willing to share your plans? The fact that you are willing to share what you learned is so kind and in keeping with the very idea behind a labyrinth!

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this video and your careful step through of all that you did and the potential problems. I’m planning a seven ring Chartres labyrinth, exactly this pattern and form, in my yard. I want to be able to mow over it. Did you lay the bricks on a concrete or sand base? Thanks 🙏

The kids did a good job building it and it's a wonderful thing for the church. Though how can you call this an Eagle Project your son planned and implemented if you did all the planning and prep work? You say "I did", "I planned"...several times in the video. An Eagle Project is so the scout can provide leadership to other youth and adults.

Let me just say this, this was an ambitious project - even for a grown man, no less a young boy! There was over 140 hours total into this project, you can't have a 14 year old boy execute planning a 7 circuit chartres labyrinth by himself, my son handled all the leadership, he delegated all the labor and planned for days with me on this pattern and prepping it before the sun came up multiple days and did extensive geometry and math that I'll never understand making a building checklist, that's how an Eagle project is executed and he paid for the entire project with his own funds he got from fundraising, you can't ask much more than that.
