This show was something I turned on as a “background” series to watch while I cleaned the house. Well it gripped me and watch the entire season in one sitting. How can you not love these two. Everyone is so refreshingly real and relatable.

I thought this was another stupid badly written show but this is actually so nice to watch. They have SUCH great chemistry and all the dialogues are so smooth, realistic and pleasant with a bit of an edge. It touches really important topics in this casual, light way. Veery nice.

I thought this show was overall good. There was some moment's I didn't care for her or her behavior. But the show touches on some real topics like religion, family, cultural differences...and how sometimes you can't help the way you feel for someone despite all that. This is something many people go through in real life. I will say I didn't care for how Joanne handled the situation with his mom, but overall it shows two characters who are learning and growing with each other especially her character who is so used to being hyper independent which is something I can relate to. It lightly touches on childhood upbringing, and how that can affect our future relationships. Looking forward to season 2.
