It's incredible that God cared for Noah and his family so much that he provided detailed instructions for surviving the flood he was about to bring upon the world. We're told that he was singled out because he was "a righteous man and blameless in his generation," a man who "walked with God" (Genesis 6:9). His righteousness brought him not just respect and good fortune, but rather made the difference between life and death for him and his family down through the generations.

The Lord Jesus has been faithful every day of my life. He saved me and brought me to his dad, Father God Jehovah. Jehovah adopted me as one of his children when I asked Jesus to forgive me for my sins, and told him I believe he is Jehovah''s son and that God raised him from the dead on the third day after he died on the cross for my sins. Jesus forgave me and set me free from guilt and shame. As I grew in my relationship with the Father and Jesus, God changed my life from within. God used his Holy Spirit, the word of God the Bible (I studied 5 chapters a day), prayer, worshiping the Lord and Jehovah, and going to a well balanced church with good preaching. I applied Gods word to my life as it related to me personally. I followed Gods will for my life as best as I could. I tried to honor the Lord by no longer purposely practicing sin, although I still fell short. God spoke to me heart through his word, through my circumstances, by his Holy Spirit, and through preaching like Dr. Charles Stanley. I was saved when I was 14. Then I attended a well balanced Assembly of God church. The pastor was the late Daniel Krickorian, survived by his graceful wife Virginia. Today I am unable to make it to church on a regular basis so I am very thankful to my Lord Jesus for leading me to the preaching of Dr. Charles Stanley. Often it seems the sermon is handpicked just for my needs that season in my life. The illness I was diagnosed with is said to be terminal. I am trusting in the Lord and his perfect timing. In the meantime I will use my talents to glorify the Lord and spend alone time with him. If you have not received Gods amazing gift of eternal life of eternal life in heaven I encourage you to pray to Jesus the same prayer I prayed and repent from a sinful life. Jesus is the one true son of the Living God and is God with Jehovah God the Father in Heaven.

Many! But Houston wasn't flooded because of them. By the way....God said in Genesis 9:11, "Yes, I am confirming my covenant with you. Never again will floodwaters kill ALL living creatures; never again will a flood destroy the earth." So the covenant was ALL living things...the WHOLE earth. He never said floods would never happen again.

Hi Dr Charles Stanley, I have been wronged my people who lie to me and hurt me financially from a housing co op who said they were going to give me this money and lied and did not. No I am not asking for money but I was thinking that God is going to get you for this. Hey, just FYI - the Book of Jubilees, which mentions Noah’s wife as his cousin, isn’t actually part of the Bible for most Jewish or Christian groups. It was written a bit later (around the 2nd century BCE) and only some Jewish groups back then accepted it. Its teachings, like the unique calendar and extra purity laws, didn’t align with the main biblical texts. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church includes it, but most see it as a historical commentary, not actual scripture.
