I see this argument a lot, but it may. Dry well be that what you see now is the cumulative effect of hard work and learning during the season in the background and if they had rushed him in too early he may have struggled more. Kinda like Cam Thomas in previous years, he was a great scorer but nothing more so minutes were restricted but now he’s added playmaking and defense to his game he’s a much better player.

@@michaelyang3910 Sometimes what a player needs in order to polish their game is playing time. There were too many moments when Brooklyn’s younger talent would keep them in games, only for the vets to not do their part. The job of a team is to play to win, and there’s no doubt that Brooklyn’s younger talent gives them the best chance to do so at the moment.

A 6’9.5 PF who guards 1-4 on an all defensive level and is a sniper from three and athletic lob catcher? Who also makes FT’s? We found our starting PF for the next 12 years

@MW_3• Claxton does the same thing at 6'11", and they don't let him loose on offense. Probably has more potential offensively. They need a bigger center to allow their talent to be position-less. Jarret Allen was the same. Kept getting bigs that can guard most 1-5...
