I watched this movie and came to this conclusion, On many aspects it's not accurate according to Bible 1.They show Ham & Japheth on the ark without wife (Bible says they entered with their wives 'Gen.6:18,Genesis7:7; 7:13 Compare from Genesis 8:15-18. That means there were 4 men and 4 women{wife}) 2.They shows Noah unaware of his own survival also for his own family. " but God established covenant (promise) with them. Genesis6:18 cff Genesis 8:16 ,Genesis 9:18.They survived as God promised I can not believe anything which are not supported by Bible, Hebrew Bible or Tanak.

Not really a prophet, though. A prophet is one who makes prophecies. Noah didn't make prophecies, except one. He simply followed God's instructions to save humanity (ie. his family) from the evil of the world. Now, Elijah, he was a real prophet! and Isaiah! Moses, Jonah, and Ezekiel, they were all prophets. Lots of great prophets out there in the Bible, you just need to know where to look.

He was a very important man, a example of faith, but not a prophet because he did not do the work of a prophet. Why is everybody suddenly so triggered by how inaccurate this movie was? As a Christian, I personally really liked this movie and Darren Aronofsky did a great job directing it. It isn’t meant to be entirely biblical, it was INSPIRED by the story of Noah, not ENTIRELY BASED on it. It is a biblically-inspired fantasy movie which I highly loved how it was directed and the lore brought into it.

In the movie, it was shown that God did not want to continue the human race further and told Noah As that the innocent remaining people will bury each other. But two baby girls were born to Noah As son and it was ordered to Kill both of them not to continue human race, but he disobeyed and didn’t kill the babies. But the real story in Quran that the God was willing to continue the human race that’s the difference.

At the end the movie credits says the events and people are fictional. It's sort of a historical fiction movie, like most Hollywood movies, but the gemeral premise and burden is true for Noah and his family, so hopefully people will search the scriptures for the biblical story and ancient sages' commentary and learn that way. Russell Crowe is a fabulous actor!
