@@NoahPeterson I started out as a horn player in the sixth grade, Eb alto, I had a Con Sax, and when in the high school orchestra I was 5th sax with 4 hot girls on sax also. I got kicked out when during the William Tell Overture I threw in a Coltrane lick and the conductor yelled " WHO DID THAT ??" all the chicks pointed to me and that ended my sax playing. I went on to play bass, then drums later in the 70's,. and became a session drummer in 4 major studios in 3 states. Can't read music but they told me I had a thing for just picking up and instrument and going at it!

@@allenquartermane6134 Great story. I love it. What kind of stuff were your recording as a drummer?

@@NoahPeterson As a session drummer I would be called in at the Record Plant East at the time and never knew what kind of band or music I would be doing and have done almost anything but disco! Ugh! hahahaha.....I didn't do much jazz, mainly rock, blues, blue grass, country, soul, etc.....I play Dobro so blue grass and country folks always come at me for tracks. I fake it on guitar , but get away with it on Mewe...hahahaha....

Great stuff!! Loving that drummer, what's his name?

That's Harvey Dickens. He's an old-school, upstate New York drummer. Swings like Tarzan. Drives the bus like Buddy Rich.
