I definitely feel like her qualifying for AA finals at an Olympics and world championships really went unnoticed

Not really. She has a repertoire of skills across all 4 events that make her competitive in the AA and the consistency (pre-2023) to match. She was 8th in the AA at the Olympics and 6th at the 2022 Worlds, so I wouldn't exactly say she hasn't had opportunities in major AA competition or that the world is unaware of her AA prowess. What holds her back from making the top 5 is the severe execution/artistry deductions in the COP.

I will always stand by her beam 😭 it’s nowhere near as bad as people say (apart from 2023). Her split positions are usually only 0.1 but people are so dramatic

I actually think her 2023 routine is her best yet lmao, but it's because her artistry is absolute class in 2023 (take out the side split leap 1/2 though). She should stick that routine and work on her consistency

Jade Carey is underrated. She is underscored all the time. Jade is very good at floor exercise and vault. She is not given enough credit on beam and uneven bars, where she is good as well.

As far as difficulty (which I really appreciate) she's underrated, but I feel like her form and execution get in her own way ... kinda like the case of Kristen Maloney. They do the difficult skills but it doesn't really look all that great.

She has a great peak all-around score (14.8 + 14.1 + 13.75 + 14.166 = 56.816) but in 2023 the only event she peaked on was vault on day 2 of worlds trials. Her bars scores without the Gienger drop dramatically and beam if she's feeling more nervous can be a point lower.

Yea, she’s great! In most other countries she would be a top AA contender it’s just that the US is so deep. It was a great accomplishment to be able to compete in the AA final at the Olympics, in top of her floor Gold.

Definitely underrated. But, based on the interviews I've seen with her, I get the impression she's not mad that the limelight isn't on her, like she's kinda shy, lol.

She really can do as much and more difficulty than Biles and better but her dad doesn't let her. I think that is her downfall is he seems to scared to let her go and do what she actually can do. Second on bars she rarely hits the handstand and they kill her for it, then on beam they should take out what leaps she does not need because they are not great but the rest is. If her coaches played to her ability more like Biles do, she could be an all around medal contender.

Not really. She qualified twice to the All Around final, and once at the Olympics. I mean she qualified in 7th, 7th best in the world. She's basically Aly with her weakness event being balance beam. She did score a 14.1 in the bars at Tokyo which is incredible (on par with Jordan Chiles)

The vault values are incorrect, as you know; but so is bars. I didn't check beam or floor, but if you want views you'll need to study the Code more. Bars: ED+0.2 D DE+0.1 E C D or F 5.9 or 6.1

She’s had ample opportunities to win AA in Elite and NCAA. So I wouldn’t call her underrated. I think she is a better NCAA gymnast than elite. The only problem in NCAA is she does not incorporate enough dance elements in the short FX. So she’s going to have difficulties convincing the crowd and NCAA JUDGES that she fulfilling the Dance/acrobatic requirements. She can be close to perfect sometimes but she lacks confidence. I hope she gets a chance to compete in the Olympics but the USA competition is going to be the heaviest competition. So she must come correct if she wants to make it into the Olympics.

I wanna say she is but she’s not consistent on bars/beam, if she was consistently getting mid 13s on beam and high 13s on bars I would consider her a AAer. But even her floor has been weak so idkkk
