House Update: As of the weekend this home has been full demolished!
@bryantidwellАй бұрын
That was stupid to demolish that house it could have been fixed up again
@garyturnage8987Ай бұрын
What a shame! That was such a nice house and beautiful property.
@donnadreyer4516Ай бұрын
Everything can be fixed, the roof, not a big deal, the water damage, fixable, a well built House from the 1980's, you won't find ever again, people back then took Pride in Their Work, They Valued Quality over quantity.
@ingrlncАй бұрын
Concrete pad in the back looks like a well house and the gate is for children or pets.
@felicialewis860Ай бұрын
Yes I agree all the nice bushes will be cut down. I was living in a house that belonged to my husband's uncle, he died, his wife moved us out. It was my dream home, Camilla bushes, a pond, a pear tree, rose bushes, dogwood trees circled the U shaped drive way, reflection pond by the house, all was demolished.😢❤
@MarkB.-mo3lz8 күн бұрын
That doorbell is unique. The pipes don't swing but are struck in the upper box. Each tube is a musical note. The longer the tube, the deeper the note. Usually, it would sound like the Westminster chime. Front door would be the Westminster chime, the back or side door would be one note. Should be salvaged.
@johnfrancis5011Ай бұрын
First thing I would do is Put a new roof on it. And go from there. It's a shame it's going to be toured down.

Hi Noah, That black and white fireplace might be nice with the right room decor. Thanks for the explore!😊
@camicozАй бұрын
That fireplace would've killed it in the 80s! They loved their black & white decor back then, lol. Totally agree with your printer rant! It makes me sad to see all of the love, work, resources, and planning put into a house just for it to be destroyed. They don't make houses like that anymore. They shouldn't be just demolishing them.

I'm second in line🎉Thank you for all your hard work!!! I LOVE IT!❤ GOD bless and keep them coming.
@susieprivitera3244Ай бұрын
The gate was probably for a dog. It is unbelievable how the owners had to pay the bank their mortgage payments or they would be evicted, but yet so many homes are abandoned that someone once had to pay for. Mind blowing really!
@MarkB.-mo3lz8 күн бұрын
I think that seperate garage out back by the greenhouse was not used for cars, but rather the yard maintenance equipment like a ride on mower, etc.
@johnf6478Ай бұрын
I would love a house like that! 88 is the year I graduated HS. So sad it would take 2Mil just to renovate in this day and age. I'm sure the bones of it are fine.
@bettybrown8534Ай бұрын
That basement was awesome as well as some of the rooms. Very interesting place.
@francoamerican4632Ай бұрын
Like changing oil on a car, the most important thing to maintain on a house is the roof. And if you use tarps to cover a roof they have to be replaced frequently because the sun causes them to deteriorate rapidly.
@WayneSummeyАй бұрын
Water always the enemy of anything we build. Our own home has had its war over channeling water. Especially around the fireplace. Our gutters have been a problem. This house here shows that renters didn't have support for replacing it. Total shame. Makes me think of Leona Helmsley in New York. From the 80's

Nice sturdy house but the water damage makes it unlivable,The gate to the back deck there was most certainly a safety measure to keep children from falling or running away if they were small.I would have a gate like that for that reason.

I think developers will just sit back and let a lot go down so when they decide to buy it instead of saving it they'll get it cheaper and then get someone to go in business with them to resettle it.😢😢😢

The landscaping is gorgeous !! I’m in the NE part of the USA, Igot some great ideas for trees,, we just moved and have some room to add some. This house inspired me to i hope that helps with the sadness of the trees potentially being cut down. I often wonder if they’d take the time to sell smaller beautiful trees life the spruce and maple trees to a street nursery so they can come remove them with the root balls to be resold and replanted. I’d buy some if they did on some of these properties. The trees on this property spoke to my style. I wish that land was more homes since I’ve heard, correct me if I’m wrong, there’s a housing crisis in the Ontario area. Thanks for the tour Noah. Keep on sharing ♥️

Isn't it HORRIBLE!!! Homeowners have to take out 2nd mortgages just to get things fixed. Our home, in Caliornia, needs a roof, flooring, that is so wore down, we may fall through in certain areas. And we don't have home insurance(except fire only) now. Due to insurance companies leaving Caliornia because of all the fires. We are a poor family home and we are stuggling so bad to find work, with no car. I HATE IT!!! Thanks for your posts. Love them!!!
