Love the windows.I worked for a window manufacturer named REPLA Windows and doors from 1985 to 2005 when they claimed bankruptcy.I see our products in soo many videos.Really cool to see the high quality lasting.

It seems most of the water damage is on one side of the house which tells me, the winter storms hit that side of the structure and when that happens, more care needs to be taken in making sure the roof on that side (or roofs as the case may be) are well sealed.

My best guess is that was a lived in, show home. Likely a home builder team member/owner. Tours for potential clients were likely given by appointment. The peg board walls likely displayed upgrade samples of tiles, countertops, carpet, wood flooring, faucets, light fixtures, trim, paint, etc. That would explain crates of raw materials and supplies in garage. After some time, the 'mode/sample home' is usually sold at a discount so a newer model could be built with newer technologies and material options. If a developer purchased it, its usually overlooked when vandals take things. It will all be demolished anyway once they can acquire the land mass desired to fully develop their project. Could be a number of reasons for a number of strange outcomes leading to your discovery.

If this was a show home, maybe it was a sales office and they had the options such as home plans, brick types, carpet, tiles, etc. My house was a model (show) home. The garage was the sales office so my garage has extra light switch panels and closed off vents that were used to heat the room/garage. Very interesting video. Thank you.

I’ve noticed a lot of the people that do these video refer to the paper in the drawers as wall paper. Just an fyi it’s called contact paper. It’s made to go in cabinets and drawers. ❤

Different roof tiles, different kitchen styles, dual stoves, various railing styles and peg board with track lights - that was 100% a show house for a development. The fluorescent lights and tiled ceilings in the basement give off an office vibe

I love the pegboard walls it reminds me of a 90's computer store. I don't like the placement of gas stove and dishwasher in the kitchen there should be barstools there at the counter so people can sit there then lean back and fall over the balcony

It appears to me this home was cheaply made. Have a wooden roof is an invite to rot and termites plus leaking. Seems owner had built the home. I think it went to bankrupt and the truck was hidden because they were trying to repossess.

If the roof shingles are cedar, it will take a while for them to dry out enough to be dangerous- the biggest issue is once they start to dry, they loosen up around the nail holes. I grew up with a cedar shingle roof and my parents didn't maintain it. Did its job for nearly 25 years before the leaking started and some of the was due to the winter storms ripping shakes off. Termites aren't an issues with cedar.

I think it was a model home and all of the different types of railing are for people to choose which one they want put into the house they are going to build. Think that is why there is as much land as there is.

Built in 1990 and full of mold. Built in 1890 or even 1790 and not a speck of mold to be found. That says a lot about today's construction methods. Maybe the shoddy workmanship has something to do with the fact that it was just for show. It might also explain the construction materials laying around, the office type furniture in the garage and the different roof coverings. It looks like at least 1 type of roofing failed, lol. It almost looks like no one every actually lived in this house, office space only. In the last room there weren't even any furniture marks on the carpet. Great find, thanks.

Beautiful looking home. Shame with the water damage especially that black mold, thats the dangerous kind. It seems all along the bump out of that house is ruined because of the water. Love the size of the property, has lots of possibilities. The kitchen has to go. What got me was the three car garage omg. That truck and kids bikes are a wonder. Where the heck is this house?

The first house I bought was built in 1994. It had some similar features. I have to say that this house had some nice upgrades as far as the gas range built in,the fireplaces being gas and the wood doors but looking at how it was actually built at, the workmanship and materials, it was pretty shoddy. My house was only 1450sf and was built far better than that house. Why have such elaborate features and layout if you’re going to build it in a way that can’t even support itself for such a time? Such a waste. Nice catch though Noah!

There might be a sad story attached to this beautiful abandoned house, maybe these owners😢 were rich, owing other properties in other countries stayed only few months in this one, also they might have died in an accident and if a relative inherited it , not able to live or afford it or sale it, just abandoned. Yes, this is a model home, it explains the office in the basement. All the others it was modeled for likely have been sold making it obsolete. Sorry to not be following like I used to Noah, I've been following everything related to the MV Dali bringing down our Francis Scott Key bridge here in Baltimore last March 26th.
