more consistent damage, if you only hit them with the second hit of the med. dp, you do less damage than a light dp.

Yolo kid still going to Esports cup while folk are salty about his playstyle what's working for him. I'm glad for him. Hate Luke. But I will always support someone that's making it work while others are mad salty. It's how the game is people. You can't be mad when he's using the game mechanics to his advantage.
