Noam Chomsky: Interventions

Noam Chomsky talked about his book Interventions, published by City Lights Books. He talked about U.S. foreign policy and other matters with Back Pages owner Alex Green. He then took questions from members of the audience members.  This event was held at the Landmark Embassy Theater, located one block from the sponsor, Back Pages Books.

I lived it and how could this be naive?the youth absolutely made the status quo upset but also compliant.it was truely a time when the people took back their government.anti-war setiment was brought to the forefront by the protesters.it became the Elephant in the room and till the war was wrapped up it was no longer swepted under the carpet.at the beginning nobody knew about this conflict,at the end nobody didn't know about it.
