Bullbunnies comment is simplistic: Hamas Massacre happened but figures vary from 7K - 40K and did not happen on one day but over a period of weeks. Although deplorable as an profound violation of human rights, Muslim Brotherhood extremists threatened the Syrian government of Assad with assassinations. Some argue that the event is considered as one of the few occasions after the end of World War II when an insurgency has been successfully dealt with by using military force.

The Chancellor’s remarks represent the first official acknowledgment that Germany, like other European countries, is destined to become a stronghold of Islam. She has admitted that the country will soon become a stronghold. In France, 30% of children age 20 years and below are Muslims. The ratio in Paris and Marseille has soared to 45%. @Ultraleftist I think you need to start at Sura 9:1 and also read any notes on the passages. 9:5 refers to those who the Muslims had made pacts with, but who consistently broke their promises. The Muslims, when they found the other side had broken their agreements, gave the other side 4 months to correct their mistakes. If the mistakes were not corrected, then the Muslims declared war at the end of 4 month, and yes, war was brutal in those days. War has never been kind to women and children.

ANKARA, Turkey - Two car bombs exploded in a Turkish town near the border with Syria on Saturday, killing around 40 people and wounding 100 others, officials said. Turkey's deputy prime minister said Syria's intelligence and military were "the usual suspects" behind the bombings, but said authorities were still investigating the attacks. The blasts, which were 15 minutes apart, raised fears that Syria's brutal civil war violence was crossing into its neighbor.

The Swedish riots have similarities with those in London two years ago and in Paris in 2005 - an incident triggered widespread attacks on property, although there is no evidence of looting in Stockholm as there was in London. A nursery school in Kista was among buildings set alight by youths But there does seem to be a particular Swedish problem. The country had a reputation for generosity and an especially welcoming attitude but now something is clearly going wrong.

Early colonies period was when the Enlightenment thinkers and the uncorrupted Protestant churches made up nearly all of the leadership; and general people were willing to brave an unknown, undeveloped land to begin the foundations of an entirely new society - all in the name of freedom and truth. Respect between individuals and between groups was very high. Indians lived among us, took part to learn, and taught us. Then discussed with their allied tribes. Land and brotherhood were given joyfully

the claim that the Khmer Rouge were bosting of killing 2 million people, auto-genocide, came from the English translation of a French review by Jean Lacouture of a book by Francois Ponchaud about Cambodia. The book itself makes no such claim, Ponchaud says that the American war, '70-'75, killed 800,000 people, and then said that according to the US embassy in Bangkok 1.2 million had died since the war was over. The figures were conflated and attributed to the Khmer.

Whilst not condoning what some of them do, I can comprehend and empathise with utter despair in the face of terrible loss and persecution and a real holocaust being visited on a people on a daily basis for decades now. Also, as has often been done in the past, others commit the atrocities in a cunningly deceitful way calculated to incriminate the Muslims. Notoriously known services.

We have to stop using the word "settlement" for what Israel builds in the occupied zones. A "settlement" implies that no human or other life that matters is already in and on the land in question---which is why European colonizers in Native America used the term as well. It means A) we are bringing civilization here, and B) if you were already here, it was nothing civilized. I see this word go under the radar every day, making it harder to think clearly about cause-effect...
