I don't play anymore but I follow Nobbel to keep up to date with the story, and I had forgotten how poor the dialogue always was. Every powerful NPC has to remind you that you are just a puny, useless mortal incapable of harming them or doing anything remarkable.. after you have been doing those things for many years. You've defeated demons, dragons, titanic constructs, old gods and their minions; all of whom called you some variation of worthless and weak, so why would any force on Azeroth underestimate you? Yet Neptulon still doesn't have respect for you. You, who defeated Al-Akir. You, who defeated Ragnaros. You, who defeated Deathwing. At some point, you'd think he'd take notice.

they abandoned the underwater Neptulon raid idea because the fans hated the underwater zone. i loved it so much though. the design. the big ass old god demons you go inside. it was awesome and huge i wanted more :(

@@_Church_ It's literally Chi that the Monks use. That's one of the main reasons Pandaren can be Shaman. You could technically call Monks an offshoot of Shamanism (Windwalkers can even invoke the elements of earth wind and fire).

The beta for Legion had a few different sequences that were cut before the final product. Baine and Mayla flirted with each other in High Mountain, Wrathion was originally in the cave of Deathwing and not Ebyssian, and other changes simply didn't make the final product. I feel like they planned to expand Ozumat's story, as Ozumat himself also shows up later in BFA, as another being watching Nazjatar behind the wall of water.

I think the elements are planets original protectors like an immune system as they seem to be like you said the oldest things to naturally exist on them and when the element spirit which should naturally be there they naturally work with the other beings and each other. Without the Titans interfering they were the only line of defence to protect Azeroth knowingly or not.

A couple of missing points. Didn't Neptulon command the kvaldir in the Val Sharah questline? How did he manage that over Helya? Weren't the naga pumping water off of Outland for some power play on Neptulon? (The steamvaults and such) Did anything come from that?

Neptulon has no control over outland (or draenor) If that is hinted in quest text, then that's something they retconned probably, as Aborius is the elemental lord of water on that planet.

Basically the element of Life. The Orcs worshipped the element of spirit as a higher form than the other four spirits, as Draenor’s lack of a World Soul meant the element of spirit could sustain life without being consumed.

Technically Al’Akir wasn’t the first wind lord nor was he the elemental lord that worked with Ragnaros against the old gods, that was actually Thunderaan who was killed later by Ragnaros

I'm still salty about Blizzard removing the conclusion to Vashj'ir and replacing it with a generic kill quest. The reason they did it was because some players experienced bugs during the submarine ride, that they could have easily fixed. Many people hate Vashj'ir because of the underwater combat, but the epic conclusion at the end made it worth the trouble, at least for me. Now I don't want to level up any characters in Vashj'ir again. If Blizzard gives us Classic Cataclysm at some point in the future, I might play it for the TRUE Vashj'ir conclusion alone, and for the Cataclysm nostalgia of course.

We have pretty great stories for Ragnaros, and Neptulon, and Al'Akir while short was not bad because we had connecting pieces of Thunderaan and stuff in Uldum... but I feel like Therazane is just giga ignored. I wish we could have awesome videos like this about Therazane but she's just simply too irrelevant! And she shouldn't be!

Hah, yeah and with the leveling revamp, maybe Nobbel could make a "previously on Warcraft" for each expansion, explaining the essential characters/events. Ideally Blizzard themselves would do that, and permit us to run the endgame raids in a five player "story" mode (maybe with NPC replacements for solo) but that's not going to happen.
