Why do people believe maive and Illidan are flirting? I am honestly trying to understand why maive didnt simply make Illidan "disappear" during the 10.000 years she had him in her grasp. Just hang him and pretend he commited suicide. Nobody would know any better and she can spend the rest of eternaty doing accauly fun stuff. I dont think she is a Tsundere but a stockholm syndroom victem. For 10.000 years her life was about keeping Illidan imprisiond. Spending 10.000 years near the person you hate tents to destroy all sanity. Tsundere are agressive yes. But maive voice sounds more like seething haterd(of herself for not killing Illidan every chance she got) then supressed love to me.

I believe she had a crush on him and felt betrayed when he became the thing that destroyed her people. She volunteered to watch his prison and ended up creating the wardens. She even left Malfurions wife to die (forgot how to type her name) just so she can chase Illidan but I believe she did that because she was a little jealous Illidan had a crush on Malfurion's wife. Her life seems like she has been lonely for a long time and thus she takes her job seriously. Seeing someone you like quote on quote betray you must be heart breaking, but she dealt with it by just showing pure anger towards him. I don't think she can kill him because she still has a heart for him, hell she basically but the dude in a sleep state when the heroes supposedly killed him. This is my own theory on the lore, first time I have typed it out to anyone.

I believe after Kil'jaeden escaped back to his ship, Khadger would have used the Eye of Aman'thul to close the Legion portal once and for all, but since Velen interfered, ultimately ending up all of you using the portal to chase down Kil'jaeden, you never really get the chance to use the Eye at all.

Nobbel87, in the other video about the end cinematic you complained that Illidan called the keystone a portal to all worlds. My guess is that it is a portal to anywhere with a large enough fel presence for it to detect. Id wager to guess that the tomb is the only reason it can detect and make portals to Azeroth. We broke the seals containing the avatar's fel energy so now it works.

No, he use his pala alt on the Horde and got carried by Preach's pug run (maybe even guild run), Normal mode is flex, so you can have a group of any comp from 10 to 30 people. Nobbel have a lot of alt's, especially now that Legion lore's is not splitted between Horde and Alliance Side, But also each class. I won't be surprised if he have all class on each side of faction (so 2 toon of each class for each faction)

That light that you refer to on the elevator is most likely a braking system. If I'm right then I think Blizzard did a great job adding a little bit of reality and detail to the game. On that note, in the next room the acoustics in the next room really make you feel like you're in a impossible large chamber. Kil'jadens' voice is priceless! Still doesn't beat Medivh in his boss fight in Kara though.

35:40 The Eye of Aman'Thul is used to permanently seal the portal, since we're going through we don't exactly want to fire it ourselves. I guess the portal is closing because Legion is closing it on their end, but without sealing it with the Eye they could open it again whenever they wished.

22:50 Illidan was referring to when he sided with Sargeras, you know when Sargeras literally burned Illidan's eyes... Illidan did what needed to be done to save Azeorth. Those spirits most likely saw Illidan as a traitor and hence they were hostile to him, he proved his loyalty to Sargeras by slaughtering them, and now they're stuck at the Tomb for all eternity, waiting for their vengeance.

@ Nobbel at about 27 minutes you're talking about the fact that there was something titan related at the place of the Tomb, if i recall correct my beloved Xal'atath whispered something about it with more... delight so i think it's more likely that it was an Old God structure before the Temple/Tomb was build upon it, which would fit with the whole Key/Pillar and Circle of Stars thing as well as that the Pillars will usher in the coming of the Old Gods.

Never saw Kil'jaeden as a coward as shown in the raid, fleeing. ffs this is the guy that hunted Velen for a long time and together with Archimonde destroyed countless worlds. He is a master tactician and manipulator, quite an unsatisfactory death for both of the top members of the burning legion. Honestly, the other worlds must have sucked in their defenses. Azeroth, on the other hand, managed to twart 3 attempts by these demons, suffering nearly nothing compared to the last times. Azeroth split apart into multiple continents, loss of the elven immortality, the walking dead in Northrend. Also the story seems to be rushed right, anyone else gets that feeling?

Kil'jaden was never a coward he was just an evil.....Demon. Gave up his humanity for lack of a better word and killed trillions of lives maybe even more, if you ask me he deserved to die.

The first defense only worked because of the amount of titan tech left behind. And even then there was spectacular collateral damage. After that, the Legion decided there were better things to do, kept some constant pressure but few serious attempts at a Legion Invasion. The the third war came and they got backstabbed repeatably. After two failed invasions, we learned enough about them to have the council of the black harvest to STEAL A DEMON WORLD and the writing was on the wall. So in short: First victory was a legitimate fluke Second was because the Scourge backstabbed them repeatably Third was because we fought them enough we knew what to do when, and stole an ENTIRE DEMON WORLD to !@#$ with them.

SalteTz Blizzard suck at story telling. Especially legion. Kiljaeden and Archimonde were fearsome because when they said they do something, they can back up with it with raw power. If they want us destroy they would have but now the adventure is "more powerful" than them which dumb down their value. To make it worse, Kiljaeden, who Illidan fear in Warcraft 3 by his mere showing vision, got defeated by Illidan with Velen, Khadgar and bunch of raiders. And their excuse was "Illidan never really scared of him and he always plan for this" which is the single bullshit and writing I have ever seen. Blizzard can take Illidan and his Mary Sue tendencies and shoved up the fanboy for all I care because sacrificing narrative for coolness factor and appeased fanboy is just terrible. Plus you have this keystone that serve nothing beside a giant fucking plot hole. And even worse, when Illidan already open the portal to Argus. Legion doesn't even utilized it for a full scale invasion. They just sit there waiting for us to come like "hey we are the generic bad guy".

Venser's Prodigy The problem is that the bad guys need to win sometimes to build credibility of being something that is feared​. It's not enough when we only lose a couple of heroes on the broken shore. This is just a generic experience and not something most people will remember. would have been more fun if three capital cities were attacked day and night and we had to defend them, extra points if the faction leadership were wounded and therefore we the heroes have to attack the shores mostly with our followers. Since we also managed to hold them back mostly in the new region it shows that Azeroth isn't in any trouble which kinda nullifies the rush to close the portal. Even worse is when Argus is right beside and the legion isn't doing something. The invasion is going kinda smoothly when progressing forward into Argus. When the heroes are that powerful no enemy are no real threat which bothers me a lot since there is no equivalent to us.

That is a problem, I agree there. The legion has lost it's teeth. The problem is Blizz wrote themselves into a corner, any victory by the Legion would almost certainly end with the destruction of Azeroth. So they can't win, ever, which makes them look weak since Blizz has to make us win every time. We needed an intermediary between "world is doomed" and "Legion victory" where the Legion could win without risking the world getting blown up. But with the events of 7.3, I doubt that will have a chance to happen.

If we went by what the movie showed then it's possible that when Khadgar drained the Fel from Medivh that some of Sargeras was inside him or when Khadgar took over Karazhan that the essence of sargeras was still inside when Medivh died which then Khadgar ended up infused . Reason I say this is because look how Gul'dan looks in Nighthold ( kinda took on the form of the movie than previous incarnations I could be wrong ).
