What a great story-teller and an amazing scientist!! My deep love for the science that I do can be traced back to when I first saw Prof. Bertozzi's iBiology talk. I have yet to see her in person but already thank her for the inspiration to persist in science and academia.

I am 67 years.Never done science in my life. But though I didn't understand many of the subject matter ,I listened fascinated by the way she spoke ,words spoken so clearly. Congratulations madam I think you really deserve this award.

This video is beyond inspiring! I am applying for a master's degree in organic chemistry without knowing what to do with my future. This talk really enlightened me, and I am much more confident about it now!!!

@@prosantomukerji3931 Prosanto Babu, like to apologise for the late reply as yt hadnt send me any notification. I'm currently residing in kolkata. I actually didnt do phd after my masters as I said things became little complicated in the summers of 2020. I wouldve loved to do further research, nothing like it but fate is often cruel. Now I'm looking for job. Though In India, thats something hard to come by😅 (feel like thats too much info to give in public in youtube, kintu akjon bangali er sathe kotha bole bhaloi laglo🙂)

a great talk that shows how science works, how details are drawn from a variety of sources, learned, accumulated, built upon, and gradually become a whole that moves from the lab to the clinic. I know almost nothing about organic chemistry, but I did learn something about the methods and difficulties of science, and how progress is made in the real world.

Such a treat to listen to the 2022 Laureate of Chemistry, Prof. Carolyn Bertozzi…from this place/podium of the Ultimate honor for scientists and their research… most well deserving honor to Carolyn and her field of research..and, of course, Carolyn presented this talk about Bio-orthogonal Chemistry so beautifully that should be clear even to any non-scientists in the audience. ❤❤ Congratulations to Prof. Bertozzi..🎉🎉🎉

Amazing work, and so well explained. Beautiful story, which kept on getting better and better. Loved the Yin yang of showing the complementarity of basic science and Translational research. Sadly if the the research proposal is not translational enough for the funding agency, it doesn't get funded and unfortunately the career of young principal investigators ends at the very beginning.

At some time in the next few years, Centaur AI will have the ability to use Euler's e-Pi-i programming format, to analyse Quantum Chemistry wave-packaging proportioning of resonance probability, holographic projection-drawingperspectiveimages "deduced" from compound reciprocation-recirculation i-reflection, bounded at 1-0-infinity Fluxion-Integral at/by Absolute Zero reference-framing to reconstruct designer chemicals.., ie more than is already well on the way now. In continuity from Laboratories like this, (at a reasonable guess).
