Thank you to Greta Thunberg and to all of the youth who are cultivating an empowering and enlightening passion for activism. Your voices give us hope. And, a huge thank you to the climate scientists who are continuing to share their knowledge and voices of reason even when faced with the heap of ignorance that our species is prone towards being a host to. 🌸

She says nothing that helps, nothing concrete. Listen to. the scientists, I cannot hear this anymore. Different scientists in Sweden have different opinions on the strategy with regard to the virus, it's the same with regard to the climate. This is ridiculous.

She has nothing to say on her own account. It couldn't be more obvious that she is just a puppet of people with an agenda to push. The idea that this disturbed schoolgirl was ever any kind of authority on climatology, ecology or anything else was always ludicrous. She has been used for propaganda purposes in the hope that she will influence the younger generation.

@@andrewmartin6445 she doesn't have to be an authority, she is an activist.her purpose is and was to motivate people to deal with with topic, to make it a topic at all. because of her, climate change gets taken more serious.. which is the stepstone for action.

What would happen if everyone volunteered to fast and self-isolate bi-monthly for a full year and also cease to operate any vehicles. Would that be a movement that would create change?

@@hejhej4441 Where did I write anything about climate change denial in my statement? Read again! Of course the climate changes, it always has. The main reason for it may differ, and there is no consensus among scientists why it happens now. What I said was, as a comparison, that one primary doesn't ask a network technician about how to tinker with the CPU functionallity, or a car welder how the ignition system works.

Ah, Greta it is going to be alright. The models are wrong. They have way too much forcing (sensitivity) to CO2. Please, little Greta, look and see for yourself. Co2 is rising at a linear rate but temperatures are not. (Please study it, the last 20 years have been even). I hate to see you so troubled by it. Greta, CO2 has been @ 2700 ppm during the Cambrian explosion . It's going to be O.K .

@andrewmartin6445
@andrewmartin6445 4 жыл бұрын
If you are right about something you don't have to ignore people with opposing views or call them names like 'deniers' or 'haters' (and since when did disagreeing with somebody mean you hated them?) If you are right about something you should be able to hold your own in an argument about it with someone who disagrees. There are many people, some of whom have relevant qualifications and expertise, who just do not accept that there is such a thing as global warming caused by man. This is not the same thing as thinking that there is such a thing but not caring about it. The term 'climate change' doesn't really have much significance as the earth's climate has undergone constant change throughout its history. Nobody would deny this. The difference of opinion arises when some claim that the climate has been drastically altered for the worse by the actions of humans and others disagree.

@Carlos Masso I do not know who to blame which is becoming the new trend in whole world but this start to teach me that we all should stop blaming any one for anything and stare at a mirror for a while and talk to inner our self. I did that few months ago when start to read and hear this weird pandemic is coming which helped me to understand first myself then the people around then the societies we are living in then the governments and at last the world which mothers all of us. It made me realize this can not go th way it has been for centuries all it will bring an end to everything that humanity build till this moment and cause a 180 degree back ward journey to what we have as wll as hold on to.
