That kit sounds unreal, especially the toms. Love the old school 3 up, 1 down, set up. N&C drums are so rich and musical.

Thanks so much, the Walnut N&C's are incredible, the bass drums defy their size the toms and snares have a great balance of definition and full tone, a really perfect balance :-)

*_Noble & Cooley_* drums *AlWaYs* speak well!! They absolutely should... after all, they've had plenty of time to figure out how to do that!! Ohhhh, Yeahhhh they have, *_N & C_* drums are arguably the oldest constant & consistently excellent drum manufacturers in the world... 🤔 ...!! Welllll, okayyyyyy, at least here in the States anyway, where since 1854(iisshh) 🫢...... psssttttt ..... that's before the civil war too!! Sooooo, wanna put bets down on "whom" was playing "whose" drums to motivate & signal the soldiers in that war... 😅 ...?!?! Anyway, this particular *_N & C_* drum set has been VERYYYYY helpful for me in the decision department!! Virtually settling an argument between my left half & right half brain sections, where one side argued with the other side, "that for the cost of this brand of drums, in these sizes, welll, unnt-Aaa, there's NO WAY that Walnut is the best choice of wood!!" However, after hearing these, *_N & C's_* in Walnut, the other half simply said.... "neener-neener-boo-boo, seeeeee I told you so...." 🤯 ....!!! Mind blown 😂!! Thanks again, Lads!! And well done, you!! 😎🤘🏼

Wow what an incredible sounding kit. A walnut kit with Paiste Signature Traditionals cymbals is one of my dream setups! The snare is the standout for me in this demo. Unfortunately Noble and Cooley is a bit out of my budget as far as kits go. I have recently seen a Mapex Retrosonic kit (also walnut shells) for sale - they are very rare as only 100 were made, 30 for UK market. From the videos I've watched it sounds quite similar to this N&C kit. Hoping it won't sell for a couple of weeks so I can get the money together! I do want to buy some of the Signature Traditionals cymbals at some point. A shame they are so expensive so I'll just be buying them one at a time. I can only play on an e-kit at home due to living a flat so a cymbal collection would just be for gigging and practicing in a local studio. Hoping I can find my own studio space for an acoustic setup one day so I'm not limited to paying per hour - and then I would be making the most of a full cymbal setup. Drumazon, I've noticed your Signature Traditionals prices are a bit more expensive than some other UK retailers. And the 14" hi-hats are a whole £100 cheaper from Thomann although they are of coure sending from abroad. Still, I do appreciate retailers that put the effort into doing these demo videos. I've enjoyed watching loads of the American equivalent - Memphis Drum Shop's videos. Ultimately I'm planning to get the Signature Traditionals 14" hi-hat, 20" ride and 18" crash. I see you do pre-owned cymbals also? I'd like to get a 17" crash too but a brighter sounding model than the Traditionals - for this I really like the sound of the Signature Reflector series as they are bright but still have a touch of darkness, and are really explosive but then decay fairly quickly. However the 17" crash size has been discontinued so I'm thinking of looking for a pre-owned model, although I'd also be grateful for any suggestions of similar sounding cymbals. I'm perfectly happy to use a mix of cymbals from different brands but Paiste is definitely my favourite and I consider their cymbals first. I think it's a shame Paiste don't have more size & weight options in the Traditionals and Reflector series - especially when they used to do so but discontinued a number of variants. The Traditionals series in particular had a load more options like ride weights & sizes/splashes/chinas/swishes etc. (not owned any of them, just read about the range on Cymbal Wiki). I suppose if someone was particularly set on a variant Paiste doesn't currently make they could look into a custom order but I've read this is very expensive, and sometimes not a possibility at all depending on what Paiste want to do.

Thanks Luke, Retrosonic sets are great, slightly different vibe to the N&C which I would say is more versatile, Mapex we’re absolutely going for a vintage sound. On your Paiste questions, To my knowledge we are one of the only Paise Traditional stockists in the U.K. meaning our prices are often more up to date plus our stock is ready to go rather than special order. With companies abroad keep in mind that the GBP prices are not exact and there will be tax and duty to pay. Paiste will make most discontinued models but you are right that these do incur an up charge. Paiste have focused the Traditional series in to a range of what are the most popular models, for most customers we’ve found the current range work really well together. If you want prices and lead time on any discontinued models drop us an email and we’ll be happy to help. Thank again for your comments and questions 🥁🥁

Is that a Fibes kit up in rafters? Nobles always the best!
@drumflix2 жыл бұрын
Hey Michael no we’ve never had a fibes here, if you’re referring to the red kit that’s a Natal, in the back of the shot I can see why that could look like a fibes logo

Thanks Gary, it’s all very typical remo, Ambassador Coated over Ambassador Clear on the toms and snare, the bass drum has a P3 Clear Batter and Fibreskyn FA resonant.
