We will like to inform our dear fans that we're still very much in good terms with Amaka Ofoezie, the actress that played Agnes for the past six seasons of The Lawanson Family Show. She's still a very important member of our family, but presently she has some personal endeavors that she needed to pursue and we have no choice than to respect her wishes while wishing her nothing but success and a breakthrough in her new path. In a bid to keep her character alive, we reached out to a very wonderful and talented actress by the name Joy Ebuka, who agreed to portray the Agnes role in an interim condition. This means that the former Agnes is still very much welcome anytime she wishes to return to the show. Over the past couple of days, we have received a couple of calls and DMs from fans threatening to boycott the Show if we don't bring back the former Agnes. While we understand their grievances, we wish to let the fans know that it is not within our power to bring back the former Agnes. It is also geographically impossible as she's now a resident oversea. We did what we have to do to make sure we serve you the best entertainment and we're pleading with you our amazing fans to show our newest member love and support so that she can be able to walk in this immense shoe that was left vacant by our beloved Agnes. I would like to suggest some ideas to help with the whole "Agnes" situation, moving forward if the former Agnes is unable to return to her role, there are some ways you can incorporate her replacement into the story as a stand-alone character. 1. The replacement Agnes can be re-introduced as a new wife, it can be explained that the former Agnes went away overseas to be with her other brother. Perhaps, Agnes was approved for an American Visa to travel. 2. Former Agnes could have left because of her husband's stinginess. The new Agnes could be a village wife because in the previous season Mr Lawanson jokingly mentioned that he has a wife in the village -- this is where the replacement would come in. 3. Former Agnes could have left to the village because Mr Lawanson mentioned that he did not pay her bride price. This new replacement should act more classy and proper than Mr Lawanson himself. Mr Lawanson can be shown missing Agnes and all of her antics throughout the season. 4. The rich woman at the end of previous season who wanted to marry Ikechukwu, she said that she would marry Mr Lawanson instead. If this was explained that that was the reason why Agnes left. These are just some ideas moving forward, feel free to add your own ideas in the reply section of this comment. I hope the Mark Angel Team sees this, I'm a huge fan and I'm very proud of the efforts of the entire team working on this show. ☺️👏
