Funny thing is when Pac was locked up, Fat Joe had his Puerto Rican homies look out for Pac & hold him down & that's a fact. Notice when Pac was going after almost all the New York rappers, he never had nothing bad to say about Joe. Pac respected Fat Joe even tho he was friends with Biggie. Joe a real ass one 💯

Joe a real one, I met him back in 96 at a show with Wu Tang & other rappers & I walked passed him by & said to him what's up crack, I'm a huge fan & he was real polite & he told me good looking & he gave me a handshake & a bounce & he kept on pushing & said peace my G. I met him again in 2019 while shopping somewhere in Miami & he took a really good close look to me & said to me, are you the dude I met from way back? I said ya man, & he shook my hand & told me be safe man, good seeing you & he wished me the best of life. He has a very good memory for recognizing my face from back in 96. He a cool one 💯

@Jalen X Blair ....Jealous One's Envy came out in Oct 95. You can see this was filmed in the winter meaning it was winter 95-96. Joe says at the end "96, 97 and beyond"
@bxdale834 жыл бұрын
@Jalen X Blair You do know that every winter day doesn't require a coat right? Speaking of that Joe mentioned the video of the Dogg Pound "kicking the buildings" and if you remember that NY NY video that was filmed late 95 winter cause Kurupt was rapping in the snow. I don't remember watching this ep of Rap City I definitely remember the Dogg Pound "NY NY" video coming out around Dec. 1995 so this interview like I said was filmed in 96 whether it was winter or spring
@bxdale834 жыл бұрын
@Jalen X Blair Lol you did a quick Google search but I'm telling you NY NY came out in the winter cause I remember. Just cause a single is released in April doesn't mean that they shoot and release a video the same time. Kurupt was in the snow in the video and Joe mentioned it so either way my post was right about when this interview was filmed

Fat Joe was the one of the only NY rapper's that went to war with the west coast. He got into a few incidents in Miami with some west coast people and in one incident he got jumped. Mr. Serv-On from No Limit records did an interview talking about Joe getting jumped and him and his people's held him down afterwards. Joe ain't no punk and he definitely held NY down while everyone was scared to speak up. That's why I always will have respect for him
