Beautiful mist scene over the pond and trees. It's a special gift when you get to walk with the clouds above tree line, I love it also. Glad you had a great day.

Great to see you back on trail! Lovely video. Couldn’t agree more about the non-clear days. The clouds allow a contrast , highlighting various features, peaks, valleys etc. A clear day can be boring in many ways. Happy Trails

Me too. I learn so much more about nature when I go out in all types of weather than if I only went out on bluebird days :)

The fog-covered mountains were very scenic and that was a wonderful view from Saddleback Junior. You were actually moving at a reasonably fast pace during some sections of the trail. And you always have such a positive attitude.

Nice to see you on the tail again. Thanks for sharing it with us! I hiked that section in 2020 and LOVED it almost as much as the 100MW. It appears the black flies have dwindled since early summer. Looking forward to watching parts 2-8. 🙂
