@@cryslacks7608 Auspicious spirits has been in the game since Wrath, the reason you see it proc like bfa is cause it got reworked in shadowlands from shadow word pain crits to void bolt/devouring plague or mindblast(2 spirits spawn if it crits) on anything that has vampiric touch on

On my warrior I have done 46 times ToP for the 2 hand axe, I never see it drop, season 2 I did DoS 58 times for the crystal trinket, and it was a holy paladin with retri loots that get ir and gave me..... This game is filthy when it comes to loot, my vault was 3 wrists 2 rings 1 cloak in 6 weeks, no weapons no tier...

As far as i know, Burst CD Priority Is, Once you pop MindBender and VF, insta VB for uptime, SWD since its the longest CD, Hard cast mind blasts, DP at 50 insanity. If you run spirits, the amount of insnanity youll be getting from Mindbender slashes and the spirits each giving 2, youll be capping insnanity if you cast anything else when youre above 70 insanity. VB, MindBlast and DP all make ghosts, Mind blast and SWD both proc your mindbender with shadowflame. A decent mixture of both prolonging voidform, and prolonging mindbender is the shadow priests real dance. power infusing yourself on the entire thing you can get a lot of damage out. On single target heroic pulls i out dps almost everyone when im 260 geared and we have marksman hunters. The burst really is insane if the stars align. the trick is to try and align them yourself.

Me, as someone who 90% plays wow for m+, it's incredible that you never did xD. It's just so much fun. Especially healer, as you have to know all mechanics in and out to not die yourself, keep everyone alive and pump as much damage as possible. And shaman healer has the extra layer of having to counterspell every 12 seconds.

@@Nutsackjones I was just talking about fun, not difficulty. Nonetheless depending on weekly affixes, the difficulty between roles can shift dramatically. Some put more pressure on the tank, some on the healer. But I'd agree that dps is incredibly difficult. Especially melee this xpac (talking about not getting oneshot in >= +20 while using every global optimally).

SP in mythic + is super fun, did it all the time in BFA. Toxic players who lock you out because of the spec you play exist, but when you finally get into a group that have taken mercy on you it’s pretty fun.

I know the pain of trying to find groups as a shadow in mythic +. I've done 13s and 14s but for some reason people just refuse to invite me to 15s no matter how good my dps is. Its a struggle.

I don't remember shadow priest ever being sought after or desirable. I played in vanilla, tbc, lich king, quit during cata, came back during bfa and shadowlands. Of the 5 versions of the game that I've played (having missed mop, wod an legion) I don't ever remember shadow priest being anything other than guildy invite to b-team activities. [shrug]
