Zephyr is a captive-born gray wolf at the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), a 501c3 non-profit organization, in South Salem, NY. He is one of the three 'ambassador wolves' at the WCC that help teach the public about wolves and their vital role in the environment.

t shatters my heart to think how humans (early settlers and even now) slaughtered them all. I saw this documentary and bawled. They were scarred to death when the man in the chopper was shooting at them. What have they done? What have any animals done to anyone other than just trying to survive? Even in other countries, they try to keep wolf population low and say that there are too many of them. What about 8 billions of humans? The COVID 19 is only the beginning. Humans have committed unspeakable sins and crimes against all the innocent sentient and this beautiful planet.
