An alternative to Maw could've been the Wit's End. I mean, it gives you MR, attack speed, ad, on-hit damage and movespeed on hit. They were slowed most of the time, but with Wits they NEVER could run away, even after dashing or flashing.

Hey Zwag! Can you play full AP Ivern with Luden’s Tempest, Shadowflame, and Rabadon’s Deathcap? He actually has really good AP damage scalings with a 70% on his Q root and an 80% on his E shield. Also Daisy’s health and AD increase with the more AP Ivern builds! It’s worth noting that if you shield an ally and the explosion kills a champion, the kill and gold goes to them (same applies to the gold if the shield kills minions too). So for this kind of build, it’s probably better to shield and then pull yourself in with Q or keep shielding Daisy when she's up turning her into a tanky tactical nuke!

I'm really new to League and trying out top lane lately. How do you fight against top lane ranged champs, esp. ones you don't see often like Ashe or I dunno Vayne? Is she an uncommon sight? I've read you just play as safe as you can and avoid being poked down even if you miss CS because of it but it feels so demoralizing and like you're not doing anything useful. Do you just try to get CS when the enemy ranged goes to TP or roam and farm that way until you get enough lvls and items to properly engage in fights? do you focus on team objectives and just miss out on the CS? Like if I'm Garen facing off against a top lane ashe I'm fighting a huge uphill battle right?

You won’t normally see an Ashe in the top lane but mostly vayne and teemo, I’d recommend letting them push you under your turret and farm there while you ping your jungler to come up top for a gank

Hey Zwag, you should give tank Kalista a try. You do pretty much use the same runes, except for doing the red runes (treasure hunter etc.) instead of manaflow and transcendence. The build path is a little different. Blade of the Ruined King --> Jak'Sho --> Titanic Hydra --> (situational tank item) --> Warmogs. Boots are situational as well, but lean towards the defensive boots. If done right, you should have around 5000 HP, 300 AD and good resistances by the end of the game. It works well, because you are a tank that can execute enemies with your E.

I use the one shot thresh build in arams. You should try it with prowlers claw. Lacks a little on the one auto but after the claw you get a big chunk still.
