In this episode I am continuing the river journey from El Castillo to San Juan de Nicaragua. I get to experience how life works here, how goods are being transported to this remote corner of Nicaragua where no roads lead to and how the locals go around their daily lives.

As a lifelong waterman, I have to tip my hat to the seamanship of these gentlemen! No electronics, no GPS, no navigation aids…just an intimate knowledge of the waters and their craft. Wonderful footage!

Epic, enchanting experience! A truly adventurous episode - fog, crocs, catching and eating iguana for lunch, navigating rocks and a narrow channel. Respect the boat's captain and his crew for doing this regularly, whilst also getting you and Alaska there safely. Think they'll remember these two days for the rest of their lives - with a crazy but delightful blonde, blue-eyed Dutch lady and her precious red Honda on board! Bravo Noraly ...

A Nicaraguan here. I'm from the pacific coast and I can tell you without fear of being wrong that the percentage of Nicaraguans who know San Juan de Nicaragua is unfortunately low. I visited it for the first time 3 years ago and I relived the experience watching this video. Some data: - You can also get to SJN by speedboat or by plane. - Live less than 3000 people. - In the 17th century, SJN it was thought to build the gate of the Interoceanic Canal. - It was one of the most important commercial ports in Central America. - Pirates such as Henry Morgan, John Morris, John Davis, Francois L'Ollonais, among others, entered the San Juan River. I just discovered your channel and immediately subscribed. I hope you enjoy every moment you spend in these lands of friendly people.

I think that most people filming this type of trip would put an emphasis on the dangers all around ; Crocodiles and the possibility of hitting the rocks with the boat for the suspense and drama of it all. But once again Noraly manages to bring the viewers to appreciate the beauty and serenity that abounds all around! As always her perspective on life is most appreciated and uplifting!

It's incredible that she managed the river journey as a single woman traveling on a cargo boat secretly in Nicaragua and then landed in a wild foreign village with no other communication than the river. It really is like a thriller. What courage or is it cluelessness, doesn't matter. Treat others as you would like to be treated and pray to God and you will be fine.

I was smiling how music affects our feelings in a video. Noraly plays peaceful music as we approach the shallow, narrow area. Or she could have played danger is coming music, so I like to unpack her creative choices. Also, we watch news in the USA and life looks scary, chaotic and it feels as if we are unraveling. Then, I watch a young woman (alone) work her way through one situation or adventure after another. Every turn there are people willing to help (a cute woman of course) and everyone offers kindness, food, etc. I get a very good feeling that the world is still open. It restores my faith in humanity. Thank-you Noraly, I dream of adventure riding through South and Central America. Currently, I moved to Colombia where I get in shape and learn Spanish to prepare for my Latin American Odyssey. You are my inspiration and your channel helps me to boost my confidence and motivation.

“Tastes like chicken!” Apparently your adventurous spirit extends to gastronomy. The river ride was quite an experience. The boat operation as it made its way downriver with the many loading/unloading stops and tugboat piloting was a marvel to watch. The early morning mist and choppy waters had an eerie vibe like a horror movie scene just before the monster attacks. I love your work and you give us lazy homebodies a chance to feel like we stepped out of our neighborhoods. Btw, 1,000,000 subscribers is around the corner and you totally deserve all the success.

🇳🇮🇳🇮❤️ It's great that you find yourself enjoying the landscapes of my beautiful country, Nicaragua. By the way, where you are is considered a protected nature reserve, it is called the Indian-Maiz Nature Reserve, That is why there are no people living there.

What a long but peaceful ride that was. I can’t imagine how it must feel to be the lone motorcycle in such a remote place. You will be getting elected queen of the village hahaha. Glad you and Alaska had a good trip down the river and enjoyed a feast of iguana!

Absolutely loved the misty sunrise on the river 🤩 We have iguanas 🦎 here in the Florida Keys and they are an invasive species so a lot of locals make Iguana Tacos 🌮 to control their exploding population. What an adventure! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

😎Remarkable! To say the least I've never seen these places from this perspective, You film such interesting, people, places, never fails to amaze me how openly and quickly indigenous peoples go way out of their way to aide and guide you on your way. Once again Young Lady Most Remarkable Indeed. Be Safe, Blessings and Prayers. Some of the grandest scenic skyline views, Mountain vistas. Nobody comes close to the Raw adventure, and Excitements. Love This!💗💓💓💞💕❤‍🔥💯💯💯
