Zero order elimination kinetics : Rate of drug elimination remains constant irrespective of drug concentration. First order elimination kinetics : Rate of drug elimination is proportional to the drug concentration in the body. Mixed order elimination kinetics : Rate of drug elimination is zero order at higher concentration and first'order at lower concentration. (This produces unpredictable result s and toxicity with small change of dose. Hence drug levels should be monitored)

aren't all the drugs which follows zero order kinetics follow first order kinetics when in lower concentration? am i making sense?
