i just realized is that sunghoon was the loyal friend that we have, i remember the time when the ilanders are ganging up on heeseung when he was chnagubgvthe choreo since not everyone was catching up but only sunghoon was the only one who support heeseung back then and did not say bad things behid his back

I appreciated Sunghoon a lot as a person during that moment especially. Yeah, Heeseung may not have been so wise and he’s not suited for the leadership role in terms of personality, but I could see that Heeseung was doing it for their sake. Like, remember when Heeseung made the trainees dance one by one? I totally understand why some people were anxious about everybody focusing on them but I think it was something that was totally necessary for their growth. There are fancams these days, people are bound to nitpick your skills when you debut. If you can’t handle that level of anxiety then you really shouldn’t debut as an idol because you’re so gonna break down. The trainees talking behind Heeseung’s back too. Being able to pin point and honestly give a feedback to the leader is so important. You need to be able to talk it out for a good teamwork. You can’t work as a group if you’re talking behind another member’s back. It was the first round and I get it, they were still really young but I was so frustrated while watching it. I literally voted for Sunghoon because he seemed ready for a debut.

I-land was raw, passionate, stressful, happy and a roller-coaster ride of challanges and emotions. They wouldn't be where they are without iland. The fact that they look so done about anything related to iland but also like to bring it up shows that they have bittersweet moments associated with it. Meeting so many lovely, amazing and talented people there, but having to see them as a competitor and voting them out. Having to rush and working hard non-stop to not go to the ground or to get back to i-land . Having to be in supervision of cameras all around, all day except in the changing rooms when you aren't even familiar with cameras yet. Having to give content to be relevant and not get voted out in second phase. Being happy that you are safe and made to the next round but the very next second your closest friend gets eliminated. And main thing was to survive the evil edit of MNET. You won't even know if you got atleast a few seconds of screentime in a episode or not. There's nothing in your hand except working hard and hoping you get saved. I'm just happy most of them are doing good in their careers now. Many guys debuted, some became producers, actors. One lost his career over a controversy due to his actions and a few are back to square 1 being a trainee and going on other survival shows and not debuting yet despite being extremely talented. Also, they were sooo young. The oldest was 21 and the youngest was 13. I hope all the 23 guys do well in life, including the original maknae who left the show right before it started due to health concerns. The groups that have boys from iland are - ENHYPEN, &Team (K,EJ,Nicholas,TaKi),JustB(Geonu, Jimin-they have two jimins), 8Turn(Kyungmin - he was originally a part of &Team too),Tempest(Hanbin),Youngbin(Blank2y...he left the group due to his wrongdoings), JB became a producer for Cravity. Taeyong is an actor. Please give ENHYPEN and all these boys and their careers lots of love.💙🍀🧿

I only noticed Enhypen properly maybe around 2022 during the Hybe x Na PD event. But I only stanned them 1 month before their comeback Romance: Untold. At that time I also got a lot of information that those who had watched I-land felt traumatized. At that time I decided that I would not watch I-land 🙂 But.. the more I find out about Enhypen, the more I-land content keeps popping up, as if it keeps inciting me to watch it. Because I was curious too, I finally watched it. I felt a bit sad after watching I-land (because my bias is Sunoo, maybe some of you understand the reason). But watching it once was enough for me 🙂
