Cheers mate! This is the first song i heard from Faouzia few months ago and from that moment on i was hooked. I know i'm so late from this train. She is been around many years now and she still is just 24! That's crazy. And in what level. She is probably the best under 25 years old vocalist at the moment. And what a voice!. But the best thing for me (for a guitarist/composer) is that she is writing her own songs, like this one. Her own songs are all really really good. And combined that with her voice and vocal talent. It's a winner! More Faouzia reactions i'd say. 😎

If you want to go all the way back she won a global songwriting contest that she wrote and sang with a guy named Matt Epp called "The Sound". It's a great song and her voice is amazing even at 15 years old!

It’s tough to find “The Sound”, but it illustrates so much about where her sound was going, right up to now. Like “Knock on My Door” did. She’s pulled so much of her old stuff. I think “The Sound” used to be on Matt’s site too, but disappeared.

Old school Faouzia is amazing. I would recommend reacting to her live concert at The Burtom Cummings Theatre. It compacts all her old hits in a stripped version, your best 27 minutes ever spent. Enjoy!

I lot of people count this their favourite Faouzia song. I’m in camp “Bad Dreams”, but I adore her challenging stare at the end of this video. Looks like you’ve already got “Tears of Gold” and “If I Were a Boy” in the can. I recommend “Love on the Brain” and “RIP Love” from Singer2024, “Exothermic” from her early days, and of course “Bad Dreams (Stripped)”.

To me this song is a slightly weaker version of "How It All Works Out (Stripped)". Very similar style but I prefer How It All Works Out over Bad Dreams, and Bad Dreams over this...but love all 3!
