Yeah, this reminds me of a different MU in the form of Crona vs. Betty. Essentially while both were made/created by evil women and had plans which required them to kill people and take their souls, they had different endings, with Betty dying and Crona either being redeemed in the anime or sacrificing themselves to save their friends in the manga. Kingdom Hearts 3: are you sure about that Jokes aside, even if Cell gets past Xion (he won't), Lea/Axel and Roxas will absolutely destroy him. Doubly so once Cell gloats about killing Xion. That's also not counting if Isa/Saix shows up. As KH3 shows, recompleted Org Members still have access to their old weapons and powers, and in Lea's case formchanges his Keyblade into the Eternal Flames chakrams. Both created for one reason, one delights in killing those who face him, the other weeps for she doesn't want to fight anymore. Cell has no obligation to do what his creator made him for yet does it with sadistic glee, Xion doesn't want to hurt her friends, her family, but she has no choice in the matter so she weeps. Cell cried out in rage and disbelief upon his defeat while Xion cried in both relief and sorrow.

I'm more of a Kingdom Hearts fan myself but I see no way of Xion winning this fight, since at the point of Cell going zenkai boost after exploding, he was almost solar system level. If we take his Dragon Ball Heroes his feats go through the roof. Not talking about his Cell Max personification, which in theory could be used as an "evolution" form for him. In the case of Xion, she is stated to be multiversal level by virtue of being connected to Roxas and Sora, but I doubt she is up to their level. Morally it would be better for Xion to win, and it would be satisfying, but that would be biased.

Gotta say, hadn't expected this track to receive a vocal version given how good the instrumental was on its own. Made it feel like it didn't need one. And honestly after hearing this... I think I still believe that true to a certain extent. Really I'm conflicted because I want to just love that track as it has a fantastic dynamic between both characters and the vocal performance of both vocalists is truly wonderful. But *gosh* do half of the lyrics clash with the instrumental in the worst way possible in their deliveries and lengths. Like, as the song goes on it improves but some of the deliveries, notably during most of Cell's solo verses, are particularly out of tune with the instrumental which makes them stand out in a very bad way as they don't complete the instrumental but just clash with it making them feel out of tune. It's still present for Xion's ones but much less notable as Lili's voice has much less potency than Tyler Anderson's which makes the instrumental blend better with them. It's quite a shame too because on their own the vocals and instrumental are really freaking good, it's just that during the verses for the most part they just don't work together and clash. I guess in a way you can justify this as the characters getting better and better to reach perfection as the song goes on but honestly I think that's a bit too far fetched (yes, even by my standards). Still, like I said earlier the song still is quite good which is why it's such a shame that it has such a glaring issue. The dynamic of both characters' completely conflicting ideologies clashing against one another while their lyrics are mirrors of one another is a fantastic idea that's backed up even more by the fantastic performance of both vocalists that manage to get the personalities of both characters through wonderfully with Cell's line having that imposing and arrogant delivery that they need while Xion's are much softer and melodic. This is punctuated by an absolutely amazing use of a short but effective chorus that's reused quite a few time but changed, once again, to fit both characters. It's simply, catchy and fits them really well. Hell, something as seemingly simple as the order in which the characters go at their lines is a great representation of their personalities: Cell is the first one to go because of course he would, he's Cell: he loves attention and being the most important one at some place and time. While Xion goes second and mostly just counters Cell's claims of superiority with humble comebacks and statements. And that's something that even plays again in importance at the end of the song when the united chorus starts: both characters are on even ground as they get their own version of the chorus playing at the same time but then Cell takes the edge, getting his own chorus to play once again as he seemingly is winning the fight but before he can conclude the battle Xion's own chorus comes back and shuts Cell's down as she delivers the finishing blow to him. It's a great way to not only reflect the characters' personalities once again but also play on the way the lyrics have played out for the entirety of the song before that: Cell always was the one with the edge as he started verses and choruses while Xion was second and only followed through with her own lines. But at the end the tables turn as Cell gets too arrogant thinking he's won only to be defeated and for his opponent to have the final word as she wins. It's a great conclusion to a good albeit flawed song. Overall this track is one that I've come to appreciate more as I listened to it to write this review but that I still think is flawed in how its lyrical inclusion is done. However even beyond this major issue it still manages to stand out due to its grandiose qualities that almost fully make up for this flaw: the song is fitting of the characters and has a truly amazing dynamic between the two all the while sounding catchy and generally heavily pleasing for the most part primarily because of the absolutely wonderful vocal performance of both vocalists. In a way I guess it's funny that a song about a conflict between perfection and the lack thereof ends up being an almost masterpiece that only has one singular major issue taking it down, quite the fitting thing when you think about it. Regardless, amazing job from all artists with this.

I can see the logic. Neo Metal was created by copying battle data from all the main characters, similar to Cell. As an actual fight, though... Yeah it's fairly one-sided to Cell, who can regenerate if even even the tiniest fraction remains. I don't know if Neo Metal could feasibly destroy Cell down to the last... Well, cell. Granted I'm not 100% sure Xion could totally obliterate Cell either, keyblades have done crazier things in the past.

@@jonathanbarr9764 Honestly, I hate when powerscaling gets into "universal, multiversal, outerversal" nonsense because at that point it's not even a vs debate and just a shouting match of "my favorite character's power level is stronger than yours!" and usually ignores a lot of context. I once debated with a fan who claimed that game Sonic was universal because he'd defeated god-like beings before, ignoring the fact that Sonic usually has help from his friends for such encounters. Anyways, I guess there's an argument to be made that Metal COULD become strong enough to destroy Perfect Cell if he like, powered up even further with the Chaos Emeralds or something. That's all pure speculation though. Metal Chaos is the strongest we've ever seen him and I'm not sure that would be enough to completely atomize someone.

@@GoldLight73 base metal sonic loses pretty hard yeah but once Neo Metal scans Cell his win conditions get very limited since it'll essentially be Cell fighting Cell with all of Metal's abilities on top, hell you could even argue that Metal would use many of them more efficiently,Ki sensing, insta transmission and his absorbsion would not work on an inorganic robot like metal sonic but would very much work on against Cell For Cell to win he could overwhelm Metal by swarming him with Cell Jr.s or get a zenkai boost before metal does,he has been shown to have difficulty handling more than one person at a time since almost all of his losses in the modern era are from teams so that would most likely be his ace in the whole For Metal to win his Super form as Neo Metal short lasting as it was would pummel Cell and in a lucky scenario where it'd turn off before finishing the job Metal Overlord would just use chaos control to freeze time and blast away every last bit of Cell, for Overlord to be damaged it would take the combined efforts of 3 super forms which is faar above Cell's capacities,maybe a spirit bomb would do some good damage but successfully hitting someone who can stop time with an attack like that would be nigh impossible personally this is my preferred matchup for both if it didn't become obvious haha, the banter/animation potential of these two would be top notch

While I'm not an expert on KH lore to say how much Xion can do, I think this fight became irrelevant after the new Dragon Ball Super movie. Still, this track was good before, and became excelent here. Would it means there Is Bloodline Regicide vocals next? Just guessing. Good work.

I can't say this with 100% certainly since I haven't seen Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero yet, but if I recall correctly from the many videos that were made about it Super Perfect Cell is an entirely different character than Cell from the Cell Saga, so his feats probably won't apply in a Death Battle unless they say otherwise.

@@QueenOfTheDead2023 they used both 90' Broly along with 2018 Broly, and did the same for Gogeta who exists in Toei movies, GT, and then the Broly Movie. That said, KH relation diagram Is weird. Just as Roxas Is related in some way with Sora and Ventus, Xion probably has many "other self" to be considered(I'm not dure) so who knows if considering all helps or not.

Xion scales to KH Sora at bare minimum. KH Sora beat Jaffar who wished to be an all powerful genie. Genie stated he has cosmic level power so KH1 Sora is cosmic level at bare minimum..

Each world in kingdom hearts is, at minimum, the size of a galaxy (because of deep space), but with them each having their own gods, afterlives, magic systems, laws of physics, and versions of earth, it is very safe to say that they are at least the size of a universe, potentially even bigger with stuff like big hero 6. With this being said, the Realm of Light is it's own multiverse, and the Realm of Darkness should be just as big, then you have the sleeping worlds, in which, if I remember Joshua's dialog, different people can have their own, tangible versions of each sleeping world. Finally, you have the Final World, which is a layer beyond everything else mentioned, thus concluding "Reality". Now, with that alone, any threat capable of destroying all the worlds at least complex multiversal. Ansem in kh1, could destroy the Realm of Light, making him Multiversal, and kh1 Sora beat him, and Xion is at least as powerful as kh1 Sora. Kh2 Xemnas is at least twice as powerful, and Xion would have the strength to match up to him. But now for the big part, you can scale Xion to kh3 Sora, who is infinitely more powerful than what I've mentioned, as he goes up against Xehanort wielding the X-blade. This Xehanort is above space and time, and was going to use the true power of Kingdom Hearts to destroy all of creation (long story). The thing is, Xehanort isn't just out to destroy Reality, but Unreality as well, a completely different construct that is just as big as Reality, so take the entirety of the KH cosmology and double it, and Sora could stand up to that kind of power, and Xion should at least come close to Sora's power. Then there's her speed which is much simpler, she can keep up with Sora who can move in stopped time, places without time, and beat people above time. Tldr; Xion slams

the thing with kingdom hearts is that because of the nature of keyblades and magic in that series, the answer isn't really straightforward since their powersets come from both Disney and Final Fantasy, unless cell just rushes Xion and kills her before she casts magic or just straight up blows up the planet, Xion can more or less unlock his heart and insta kill him. the problem is there isn't really a way to tell since the magic in kingdom hearts is a soft magic system rather than a hard system where the rules are almost as loose and dubious as lord of the rings. there are people in kingdom hearts who can erode dimensions completely and create new ones which very few people in DBZ are capable of doing but nobody is really physically stronger than Cell nor do they have the same destructive capabilities outside of magical exceptions, while in DBZ there really hasn't been a case of you die instantly because of X type powers since devilman in OG Dragon ball, there is a lot of that in kingdom hearts since all magic from all of Disney and final fantasy are able to be cast and a horrible curse or insta death is a possibility.

To be entirely pure of heart is such a specific circonstance that its truly a shame they didnt bring the concept back for Dabura, an instant death beam that actually works on nearly everyone (Buu would survive anyway since like cell and Implosion wouldnt kill it)
