It's been 84 years and I'm still mad we don't have a properly recorded version of this. I don't have the authority to say it's the best version of the song, but it's my favorite. Julia is incredible and SO underrated.

It is a shame that she never really got the recognition she deserves. She is such a talent and her voice might not be the highest, or most powerful voice out there, but her emotions and her playfulness she puts into every role is on a different level . Her version of Elphaba in Wicked is still the best version out there. And lets not even start talking about The Wild party where she just blows everybody away.

Her voice is hugely powerful. This is a rehearsal performance, so she's not on mic. Even so, you can still hear 95% of her voice and lyrics with the orchestra behind her while wearing no mic. I'd say that's a pretty big voice.

@Marcus Vincent She has a solo album called "I'm Not Waiting", it's fantastic! She is of course also on the cast album for the Andrew Lippa "Wild Party", in which she starred as Queenie in its original Off-Broadway run, and she's incredible on that! Definitely check those out :)

I've watch this many times and all the other Nobody's Side videos out there. Julia's version is the absolute best and this is just a rehearsal, which I think is actually better than her performance version. Her acting is perfect. She is right into it from beginning to end. You can feel the sexuality of the song. The simple on-beat hair flip at 2:37 is sublime.
