Man, I've been waiting for this one. The high customizability of character and playstyle is really a big attraction for me. Let's hope they'll had a quick form-switch button in a later patch, it seems it would just make the gameplay smoother. Thanks for covering it. Great review!

I loved this game, played it on gamepass a couple months ago, great mechanics, maxed out all the forms, only 1 achievement i didn't get was NG+, which is intense, the dungeon's are way harder, great game, hope people love it.

@@thatanonwholurksmoar7386 hmm probably around 35 hours, probably take another 10 to do a new game plus if you ignore all the side quests, but all the dungeons have modifiers that really keep you on your toes

Not going to lie, the art style alone sold me on this one. I love it and it looks like it would be awesome with the OLED. Plus the form changing mechanic is always a fun time for me in other games so image I’d enjoy it here too :)

Amazing game. Level 8 already and I’ve unlocked at least six classes so far. Each feels so unique and fun to play and lvl up. Worth every cent. Runs at 60fps too which incredible!

I actually bought this game before watching this review. It's pretty nice and quite interesting as to how it portrays the kind of base character that isn't what it seems to be. You could transform into different things that can deal with different situations and scenarios. It's a fun mash of games into one. I could tell that I would take a long time completing this game. I hope that there are more games like this,

I love this game. The grind didn't bother me because I was constantly switching between characters and it always felt fun. It feels good to play and despite the amount happening on screen it runs very well on Switch. :)

Guys get it! I’ve never really played games or been interested in games like this. The best thing I can compare it to are the Sparx levels in Spyro 3. It’s so fun.

Buying this as soon as I wake up tomorrow morning. I was a huge fan of Guacamelee 1 and 2. And this looks right up the same alley as both. Fun and funny as hell and absolutely ridiculous in the best ways. Love the swapping around of powers mechanic too. Pretty sure this is my next addiction

Ditto got his hands on an HP Lovecraft book. Looks amazing, definitely prefer art styles like this on the switch, and the combat looks like a ton of fun.

Playing it now. Beautiful,hilarious and kinda addictive. But difficulty can be so easy. Not really challenging to me. I hope they tune it a bit more hard in the next update. Unlocking new form is damn fun.

It's now 9 months from this comment, and I have good news. They recently added the "Impossible Dungeon" update, which is an endless dungeon that gets harder and harder as you progress. I haven't even made it passed the first floor, so I'd say it's definitely a challenge!

As the game has been out for a while and I've already seen reviews for other platforms, I was hoping to see comment on couch coop performance. It is the new feature and the deciding factor for me as I'd play with my son. The game does look like it runs smooth from the Switch footage you showed.

Played this on Xbox One. It's good, but absurdly grindy. You'll need the patience of a saint, and I'm pretty sure that's not a form available to your character.
